The fake punt isn't exactly a play an NFL team typically grabs from their playbook because of it's risky nature, since you stand almost 20 years behind the line of scrimmage, even on a fourth and 1 it might as well be fourth and 15, and at best if you lose it you'll only give the other team the ball at the fifty if not closer.

Success percentage is too low so you'll only ever see this play if the team has already won or lost the game once the regular season starts.
