If Bush has a diesease, any disease that affects his mind, then he should not be in office! I have an incurable illness, it affects me cognitively, but I would not expect to be allowed in public office with it.
You HAVE to understand lyme disease; it is completely debilitating!! I was paralyzed from the neck down due to lyme; husband, all 6 kids, lyme. It is a bacteria that deteriorates the mind and THERE IS NO CURE!!! I work in holistic healthcare, and work with this disease EVERY day. Antibiotics will NOT cure it, period. KNOW THE TRUTH!
I'm not sure that this is incontrovertible proof a diminution of Bush's cognitive abilities. The pace of his speech was quicker 10 years ago, but the fact that he was more coherent during the gubernatorial debate may have been the result of scrupulous coaching. Also, his reference to "14-year-olders" during that debate shows he was prone to gaffes and the odd use of language even then.
he needs to lay off the pot, but its probably to later now

Debate my arse - more like prepared statement. His eyes are fixed on the teleprompter the whole time.
