Yes, $99 is more than I expected but isn't flash like $1200?
Either way, I'll pirate this and if it converts as smoothly as it claims to I'll gladly pay $99 for the fun of running my old and new GM projects in a web browser. There have been a number of changes that YoYo Games has made that I haven't been happy with but I have to admit, they really do seem to be doing a fantastic job making Game Maker a legitimately viable language to produce in. I really do appreciate that.
@stickmanbrains According to thesmartdjmarsh, 99$. Also, since the editor isn't browser based, I wouldn't guarantee mac compatibility. It should be compatible with the browsers that support html5, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and hopefully in some time, IE.
I would like to point out that the "more powerful" processor mentioned for the iPhone 4S is the same as the one in the iPhone 4 and iPad 2. Therefore, games capable of running on the 4S should be more than able to run on either of those 2 as well.
@ThisIsNotAFakeAcount Learn javascript instead, it's far more efficient simply coding it compared to generating it through another program. To write javascript, you essentially only need notepad or a similar text editor and a nice tutorial from the internet!

KICK ASS!!! Using the HTML GM can you still export it as a exe. file? If so I'll just buy this instead of GM8. Any differences I should note?

So how much does this cost?
And it is compatible with Mac I'm assuming, as it's browser-based.
What browsers is it compatible with?
Firefox? Explorer? Safari? etc

@65yoyos
No, the 4S has the new A5 chip, making it the same as the iPad 2, but better than the iPhone 4.
