Re: Mr bad ass NAVY weatherman I am still waiting.
@GnosticNinja I like the way you think, but I don't give a damn about religion as it is responsible for much of what you rail against but in the back ground. Because we haven't been taught well enough to LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. and not just thyself. From what I've read the divine creator reveled in harm and mayhem and suffering.
It can be used to build a beautiful house for needy wayward souls, providing hope & solace.

I can name thousands of "doctors" that don't know shit all about health or how to CURE diseases. But I do!? You see, all of that super NAVY en-train-ing and short term thinking skills doesn't explain why it's called "Green Land" dude.
"All agencies tracking Earth's temp > (Hadley Climate Research Unit in Britain, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, Christy group at U of Alabama, Remote Sensing Systems)
Report a DROP in temp of 0.7C in 2007. Fastest change on record puts us back where we were in 1930. If the temps does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over."
NASAs 'Aqua Satellite' directly disputes computer models of "potential global warming". ACTUAL DATA vs SPECULATION. For years it recorded temp, cloud form & water vapor. Factual telemetric satellite data (devoid of political hot air) confirms global temperatures are NOT climbing, thus, NOT hurtling towards disaster.
Lets have you "debunk" images and recorded data from NASA's satellite or STFU... puhleeze!!
Ninja - Obviously you have serious issues and absolutely zero interest in the truth. Just reading some opinion peice that goes against the bulk of the science doesnt count.
Resources? How about the National Snow and Ice data center? How about the satellite imagery that has shown a massive dissapearance of the ice? This isnt speculation or opinion. Look at NASA, they have that 2009 is the lowest amount on record. NOAA the same thing.

There is no logic of capitalism, it is an out of date primitive system that no longer viable. But it is nice to see someone like Sam Gindin who gets it, that the system is broke and that we have to work towards a positive future for all and not service wealthy people so they can get richer.
Money and profit should not be the motivator but how do we have a sustainable system, one that frees people not enslaves them as any market system does, one based on human need not enriching the rich.

I never once heard anything about keeping the company healthy. Remember , No market for your product= No product to build. That in turn means no work, and no company. I give GM two years. and their dead.
These ridiculous statists and keynesians like Pantich are the reason I can't support Real News. It's a shame they're not more libertarian-minded, or I'd donate, and I'm sure thousands more would too. Napolitano's Freedom Watch needs a companion show, after all.
Hell, I'd even be favorable if I felt Real News was balanced. Instead it doesn't seem to live up to it's name.
Already chewed on that. Here's some food for you: the founders lived in a era where popular belief was that other races were viewed as different species, science/anthropology were new, and many of those founders were beginning to question the old ethos. None of it clouds their understanding of natural rights and the behavior of man (or it's study).
And that justifies it? And that justifies what Washington and Jefferson did to native american tribes? And I bet they did consider it considering the fact it was the slaves that built the white house (and just about everything else in that era) and continued being whipped right up until the civil war. Long after Washington and gang were dead. Not to mention another 100 years of being treated liked animals.
THe founders were genocidal murderes just like all american presidents have been
Justifies it? Nope, I didn't say that. I'm simply saying it has to be put into context, and that you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. They did horrible things, based on terribly flawed beliefs that modern science and law have corrected, but this doesn't mean their other ideas are any less valid or critical for understanding how government and liberty interact.
Yeah! Just pretend that capitalism has nothing to do with the financial meltdown and the bubbles that occur every ten years now. Just pretend capitalism had nothing to do with the U.S. having the biggest wealth inequality in its history. Funny, the pathetic conservatives are a one song band. All we have to do is label something as biased or liberally biased and that instantly makes what their saying untrue. Sorry jackasses, in the real world you have to prevent some kind of factual rebuttal.
Uhh, I think the real problem here is that you've been force-fed the same mainstream media bullshit that's akin to the bullshit in history books that blamed the Great Depression on a "laissez-faire" Hoover or ideas like "NAFTA is free trade." Open your eyes, friend. The financial industry is heavily regulated already (try reading all SEC laws/regs), the government backed faulty loans (fannie/freddie), the Fed turned the money spigot on, and Washington forced CRA on us.
Hayek won the nobel prize for economics in 1974 explaining the cause of the "boom-bust" cycle.
Sure, i grant you that the capitalism we have today, is like the socialism they had in the ussr. The problem with both is state power, which is used to the benefit of the politically connected.
You can't listen to these idiots from York University. Its a socialist institution. I'll bet there isn't one single pro capitalism professor at that worthless school.
Maybe because some peopel can realize what capitalism really is. Maybe some people that acutally look at history and realize that america has a really bloody past. Like the slave owning native american slaughtering "founding fathers"
This fool has a plan, but no details. What a crock of BS! Can anyone smell a fascist? Gov take over of industry, and social programs from all. TRNN is a shill for gov ownership of your life.
TRNN has Paul Jay. Faux News has Hannity and O'Rielly. They are all propaganda artists. Jay uses liberal/progressive crap. Hannity and O'Rielly use right wing/neo conservative crap. Oh, and my source is intellect/personal observations.
As a blue collar worker I know that pretty much none of the colleges Iv ever had has been trying to "make it". Why are they not decreasing productivity although the pay increases isn't even enough to cover inflation?
Its natural to work, its not natural to have people benefiting of your labor.
Sam Gindin had it right when he said that we need to rethink the entire situation and begin to come up with broad system-wide solutions. The old paradigms don't work- that is the first thing we need to agree on. Otherwise we will be reduced to rejecting anything that comes down the pike. The movie "Zeitgeist Addendum" addresses all of this through a resources-based view, as opposed to a profit-based view. We don't need winners and losers. This is not communism. Corpotocracy is Fascism, though.
Auto Unions = capitalism? The real Fact is Capitalism is just a word and Freedom is what they are going after. Morals are legs one would stand on if people were free to do what was needed to be done. We cage ourselves in with laws going after those (Ultra Rich) that abuse, and we will never "net" them in the same prison we build for us. Just like with "gun control" BS you only control those that obey and respect the laws not the criminals. Try less govt control. 4Respect and accountability.
Yes. Libertarian, myself, I can't help to often feel sympathetic to the elites because their wealth and power comes from the dumb masses who make laws thinking it helps them, but actually enslaves them. One law at a time, until the weight of their sum becomes an unbearable burden.
"That's complete hogwash. Capitalism hasn't been tried."
OKAY! What right-libertarians need to understand is that, yes, we know there's some theoretical capitalist utopia out there but generally speaking, for those of us who live in the real world, when we talk about 'capitalism' we mean capitalism as in capitalism in the real world. But, yes, we understand that reality is not like the capitalist stories say.
Central planning, Government Takeover. WOW I cannot believe what I am hearing. COMMUNISM.
What a bunch of cry babies. We want our jobs we want our jobs we want our jobs waaaa cry babies. American workers are the laziest workers in the world.
Keep in mind, that he mainly talks about Europe. They are much different there, very patriotic. In the US, nobody gives a f*ck, wheter another citizen lives or dies, one has to cope with his own problems alone. In Europe, they are very proud of their countries and care for every single inhabitant.
Europe has not learned anything from the past century (i.e. the Age of Statism). Governments that were mandated to run and protect the lives of countless of people were directly responsible for the death of millions. The amount of deaths that are caused by the US "each-on-his-own" system is insignificant compared to what European governments did to their own citizens. Even the deaths caused by the illegal wars the US fought are. Mandating government to run the economy and welfare is immoral
What do you mean by "Europe in the past century"? The "European Union" as a unique entity started about 16 years ago and before that, Europe consisted of more than 30 sovereign nations with the same amount of governments. So which of these governments, which hasn't learned anything by the past, are you referring to? You seem to be rather uninformed about things taking place outside your own continent.
The larger problem is that the US government is rewarding failures. Bailouts = rewards for failure. Rewarding failure is not capitalism, nor is the government taking industries. Public takeovers is wishful thinking. We should also consider the irrational optimism that's plagued the business world which used to be more rational/logical.
The Government (Right and Left) ROBBED US at gun point. They did not reward failure they stoled our lively hood, the future of our children. Both sides were told NO by the American people with one voice and they still did it. We are telling them NO again Obamacare and they still want to do it. HR1207 may bring the whole house down so finally they may be listening to the people.
Yes just like how the typrewriter companies started making computers. Or how the record factories started making CD's. Oh wait no they didnt. These old companies have to many long term liabilities. Something needs to be done with workers entitlements
Keynesian economics does not work. And most left wing so called economists think that method of "stimulation" works. But it doesn't. Also I'm for the environment but I don't swallow this "Man made" global warming theory. That's just doomsday fear mongering
Yeah.. Our government plus private debt is around 53 trillion.... And to think that we owe that much for something that never existed in the first place..
We are living in some serious times... Most of the oil producing nation are ready to drop the dollar and go with the euro... Its going to get ugly... I'm ready..
It sucks that we are not running on Geothermal already...
Capitalism does not reward failure.. Businesses that are corrupt and make mad business decisions go bankrupt.. Does capitalism include a central bank that controls the money supply and artificially sets interest rates?
A consumer based society can not experience growth when its productive capacity has been slashed. The 2nd point is Peak Oil.
Growth in an economy is dependant on the supply and demand of energy. We passed peak oil with a huge surge in demand by developing countries in 2005. The furnace has cracked and to fire it up again means destruction of the furnace. The furnace being the economy. If you dont believe oil is in decline, look at the countries under attack and what they have under their soil
Excellent video. I love watching how the "libertarians" (a word mal-used by them) freak out by the concept of democracy. It hilarious. I got news for em.....no population will ever except your "dog-eat-dog" world and they've been fighting it for over a century now. They're no fans of the world Obama or McCain had in mind but they fight and reject your "dog-eat-dog" world. Don't freak out only because the world does not go like your textbook.
I consider myself a libertarian, at least in a broad sense of the word... and I think the idea of a democratic workplace is great! Actually, if you apply free market principles to the firm it leads to a horizontal democratic workplace. This is because the same information problems that plague state central planning can also plague the firm. But I do believe these institution must arise through free association, and not through the decrees of a politician.
does public ownership mean direct ownership by the workers of the means of production or state ownership? As an anti-authoritarian I can't support state ownership.
The ICE CAP ON Mars Melted there were no SUV's on Mars. The earth has been warming since the last ice age and I guess that was ok. Global warming comes from a sun spot cycles no from SUV's and smoke stacks. Environment has nothing to do with politics it has to do with property rights. If a near by plant pollutes your air we should sue them until they fix the problem. The government does nothing and cares less is your child dies from toxic exposure vaccines, smoke stacks as it is an excepted loss
Free market capitalism hasn't existed in the United States for decades.
Businesses that are not viable need to fail and businesses that are viable will succeed, however, the government likes to intervene and mess everything up. It's what they do best. Now, businesses that are not viable are saved by the government at the expense of the businesses that are viable.
The government is rewarding the incompetent at the expense of the competent (not to mention the tax payers).
The reality is that public economic planning, combined with an empowered workforce, will be essential in 21st Century economics if we want sustainability and prosperity - because the market sure as hell can't do it. We can't go on living in a capitalist system, we need socialism. It's a practical necessity and we need to realize this.
This talk economic planning, empowered workforce, sustainability, have nothing to do with prosperity. This is how a prisoner lives, We do not have capitalism we have corporatism. All those words are part and parcel of Marx and Engles. They feared true the free markets, and personal freedoms it is their undoing. Game Over! Because that is where prosperity lives in freedom. Invention, creativity, and spirit thrive on freedom.
Carnage's Bolsheviks angel (Leon Trotsky (a,k.a.) Leyba Davidov Bronstein The Bolsheviks "came to power" in Russia during the "October Revolution" they murdered the entire Romanov family and through assassinations, rape, deportation to gulags NICE!
GUESS WHAT? They have not changed one bit.
New Messages..."Global Warming" (Hoax) Workers Parties are smarter then the rest of us (Hoax). They raised wages and killed the industries.
I am willing to listen to your point BUT...A hoax usually has someone benefiting and who is that?
Industry was not killed by raised wages because productivity continues to rise throughout the years since ww2 via technology.A growing industrialization of the poor countries and global trade agreements killed industry in America.
But I will say too many Americans think they deserve a standard of living that is unsustainable. We must grow up!
Who would benefit? People who want more power through bigger government. Ultimately, a world government. What better way to convince us that a world government is the solution to a threat, fake or real, that concerns us all. Of course, this government will be control by a very small elite like the governments we have today through lobbying. It's the centralization of power. But they're not gonna tell you that. once they've setup their world gov it's game over, they'll rule for ever.
The hoax is making benefits to the elites (elites are no different than king goroge the III) , taxing, clean coal is still a number one factor in pollution, and putting our sovereignty to the standers of third world countries. A lot of 3rd world countries and stuck into poverty thanks to the IMF.
Al Gore? The power companies, large smoke stack industry that managed to change the law (Clean Air Act) putting off removing harmful toxins for years by making CO2 a toxic chemical, even though CO2 it hurts no one. THEY (government, religion, schools) always blame people for what is wrong, never take responsibility for trillions of dollars spent and nothing ever done. Using controlled media programing, fake right left politics, history and junk science to totally confuse us into submission.
There goes private property! The New Social Order comes into being. This is stealing and taking away what was not theirs. WHO are these Thief hidden "Planers" and What is their Plan? A Bolshevik Plan? Where was the questions? Who's Plan is this? Who was the bright eyed Radical Socialist 5th International Brotherhood, fulled by the same rotten bankers and corporate shills to completely take the last breath out of us sweet human beings who have been their cattle believing in such false ideas.
I like how poor people "steal", but rich people earn. If you ask me it's the other way around. I suppose like all things there has to be a compromise somewhere. Personally I get really sick of people screaming their Joe McCarthy impression.
Well if you had been a member of a communistic organization as I was SDS, then maybe you would understand. It went from save the poor people to kill the pigs real fast with not much time to shift gears. Or if you had a step father who was on the Hollywood black list as a card caring communist and to hear that the revolution was alive and well then maybe you would see it differently. Then maybe not as some no matter how much information will not see through the fog of lies.
Joe McCarthy was a very confused shill hungry for power. It amounted to an American purge of Real Intellectuals from the liberal ranks letting all the Shills survive. Check out Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, or Norman Dodd, who was the Research Director of the United States House of Representatives Reece Committee on youtube. THINK AGAIN.
America became the great productive power it was because people were free to invent and build ideas they conceived of. Since then socialist ideals have made it what it is today, a failed state where 40% get benefits and don't pay taxes. The rest are relegated to working serfs of the system. Capitalism is not by itself the problem, corrupt banking and unconstitutional government programs fail to understand that. Who is John Galt?
So the richest people in the country, who pay the most taxes and barely work at all, are the serfs? And the majority, who do most of the work but receive barely any of its benefits, are the lords?
WOW! you should read some books and more often.Capitalism has created child labor and destruction of earths beauty like places in the Appalachian mountains being DESTROYED for COAL! Unhinged capitalism will quickly consume itself and everyone with it.
While most focus upon the destructive aspects of children working as deplorable and this was the case in many situations yet children have work on farms since the beginning of time and that is not recorded, nor this the fact working children with an education are very powerful business people and very inventive. And with guns the are smart dangerous citizens. Can not have that if you are going to rule them.
If it isn't profitable then that basically means that there isn't a demand for it.
You want to forcefully take peoples' money in the act of "taxation" and subsidize a business that is not serving the interest of CONSUMERS to the extent that it can make at least enough money (through VOLUNTARY PAYMENTS) to cover its operating expenses and survive in the market.
He's talking about using those assets to make a public transportation system, not using them to continue producing car parts. He doesn't want to subsidize anything, he wants to take them over.
I find your opinion extremely perplexing. You are from the Netherlands - are you like some american jackass taking jobs away from the natives? From the favorites that you list it is a safe bet to say you are one shallow immature nonthinking corporate robot.
I am a strong supporter in a democratically ran workplace with worker ownership of the means of production, but such a system cant be mandated by politicians or rulers. It must emerge within a free society, absent of the decrees of politicians. Otherwise you will simply end up with centrally planned chaos.
No, not at all. What I am saying is a worker ran democratic workplace is more efficient then a vertical hierarchical workplace. Thus in a true free market the horizontal democratic model will win out over the top down model.
your example doesn't apply. Cuba is a state socialist authoritarian regime. It is ruled by a political class. What I am talking about is something that will arise naturally within a free market. It is a preferable way to run a firm both in terms of efficiently bringing desired products to the customers and it creates a more fulfilling environment for the workers since they are in control of their livelihood, and aren't renting out their labor.
I believe in sound money! In fact my currency is probably more sound then your currency because I believe in competitive currency while you probably believe in gold backed state issued currency.
Problem is all the gold has been swallowed up by the inbred aristocrats. The value can be manipulated to their favor. But paper will always be worth just paper if only backed with treason & subjugation.
Its never been given a fair chance, the constant embargo prevents many essential parts from getting in, but even then, the people seem content with what they've got. Why else would they have such a high percentage of doctors and engineers, so many so, that they can send them to the 3rd world for development and training?
Well, if you consider it to be "Real Marxist Propaganda", you're entitled to have that opinion. However, I do wonder why you're still watching some of the stories on this channel since they would contain such content that you consider to be "Marxist Propaganda". And no, I'm not saying you can't do so.
I like to know what people are saying...what the word is. I watch and listen to a vast array of things. That's the only way one can have an informed opinion.
Most people, and I'll count you among them, only want to hear things they agree with and then turn around and act as if they've gained some knowledge. They have not.
Why is he a kook, because he's challenging the logic of capitalism? Oh, and Obama was given the Nobel Peace prize because he did something Bush has failed to do during his two terms in office, it's called trying to promote peace to other nations. Plus, Obama has managed to get that going in his first year during his first term in office, so the claim that he's done nothing so far is bullshit and you know it.
I don't know anything of the sort but it's apparent you think you do. I'm very confident that President Obama's foreign policy is a joke with interests resting in superficial imagery as opposed to the protection & prosperity of the American people.
His speech in Egypt made it extra apparent when he announced that the U.S. is not a Judeo-Christian nation. He's very wrong, & he's misplace his alliances in people who have perpetrated far greater crimes against humanity than America ever has including slavery, sexism, & genocide.
This man is a kook not because he challenges the logic of capitalism but because espouses the illogic of socialism as logic. Capitalism is not an acting party, it's a theory of economics. It's not responsible for anything because it can not be. I'd also like to point out that half of the world has become rich (relatively) through the system of capitalism. Prior to it there was much more poorness and poverty. Where you have socialism however, you have evolutionary stagnation.
When you say "evolutionary stagnation", do you take into consideration that evolution is not about technological advancment but survival of the fittest. I think the area in the most desperate need of progress right now is the human consciousness, and for that we need QUALITY culture. A culture focused on engaging in reality rather than escaping from it. I'm not saying that socialism is the way to go but I think we need to look at progress through other filters than just BNP.
Technological advancement doesn't exist in a vacuum, it's part of the modern human condition and and expression of human evolution. Remarking on survival of the fittest actually only solidifies my argument by pointing out that those who adopt economic systems that diminish individualism for state dominance/tyranny fail to nurture said human spirit in favor of material equalization.
Obama is NOT a president of peace! He is escalating the war in Afghanistan, expanding the war into Pakistan, and is continuing to make relations with Iran even worse. I wouldn't be surprised if US military boots stepped down in Iranian soil before his presidency is over. Obama is just another president serving the interests of US hegemony.
I agree with you. But just to clarify: I didn't mean survival of the fittest on an individual level but of humanity as a whole. I think that perspective is lacking as we struggle for making short term profit. I think that individualism in the form it exists in today is actually as harmful to human spirit as is strict control. The only freedom we have today is to choose whos ass to lick. =) Maybe not quite that bad but maybe you see my point?
it doesn't seem to me like there is anyone in power right now really concerned with what happens to the u.s. nothing is being done to ensure that its economy continues to stay on top, that its power persists. it is totally the opposite. it seems like someone really wants us to fail. our failure will not stop the suffering in the world. another super power will emerge to cause the same amount of suffering minus the accountability towards its own people if they were to know the truth.
The idea of undoing 'climate change' will hurt jobs more than it creates new ones. It's anti-human. The abortion of humanity. More like Population Zero Change.
The unions have nothing to do with this and you know it! Answer me this then, if global warming is such a scam, then why are the polar ice caps melting at a fast rate?
Don't ask a stupid chewbaca that question. He will just say there are too many poor people - it's their breath and they chould be killed or allowed to die off.
From Maine to California the weather changes with the seasons. The same happens on other continents, and thus on other planets as well. Mars has far worse "global warming" than Earth... but no factories or automobiles or even pollution that we know of. Also, Mars don't have inbred tyrants trying to form a global dictatorship. Using bunk science & hype to form a "global carbon tax" cannot change the weather CYCLES of the Sun.
Sorry, most seasoned farmers already know this stuff.
Yeahh man global warming is a conspiracy theory cooked up by silly hippies, the world is secretly run by the Vatican / the Illuminatis / the Jews / the Free Masons / the Martians / [insert your favorite fantasy] and everything that's wrong is happening because of them, the dinosaurs didn't exist, 9/11 was an inside job............... Okay, when you're done reciting all the standard conspiracy non-sense in various combinations, please consider getting out of your bubble and joining the real world
Your "real" world as YOU know it is a narrow road almost perfectly straight... a cabal of corrupt potentates in front all walking down that road too. Damn certain that it is going in nearly a straight line, the pied pipers march on saying don't step out of line or be labeled a heretic and be damned.
All the while, a bird moving above thinking and moving freely looking down see's the road for what it is, a gigantic circle.

Another problem is the lazy masses of the ignorant who think global warming is a myth. Who make false claims of looking at research data and openly lie that there is record ice growth at the polar caps because their conspiracy cult tells them it is so not because of anything in the real world.
Those lazy ignorant masses only help the very people they think they are against and will only help screw us all.
ninja - That is funny a poor deluded fool calling me a poor deluded fool, lol too much!
I hope you were not talking about yourself when you mentioned smart people. The facts my delusional pal is that there is slightly more ice in 2008 than in 2007 but the trend has been massive melting of ice for decades to the point of a ship going through the once dreamed of NW passage in 2008. That was because of a massive absense of ice.
Peak of 2007 Arctic sea ice pack measured 4.1 million sq. kilometers -- a record low -- 2008 at the lowest point it measured 4.5 million square kilometers."
Translation: an increase in size of 1.0 million, nearly 25% in a mere two years. At this pace it will be back to NORMAL AVERAGE in 3 years or less.
Yea...because historically it's only the best way to increase the wealth of the common man, but lets disregard fact and question things we clearly don't understand.
The problem is not Capitalism(the free market) but Corporate America and the greed factor

Here's food for thought: the founding fathers were slave owning native american genociding murderes that were imperalist and started wars.
MrSuperpunch019 2 years ago
Already chewed on that. Here's some food for you: the founders lived in a era where popular belief was that other races were viewed as different species, science/anthropology were new, and many of those founders were beginning to question the old ethos. None of it clouds their understanding of natural rights and the behavior of man (or it's study).
immanent 2 years ago 4
And that justifies it? And that justifies what Washington and Jefferson did to native american tribes? And I bet they did consider it considering the fact it was the slaves that built the white house (and just about everything else in that era) and continued being whipped right up until the civil war. Long after Washington and gang were dead. Not to mention another 100 years of being treated liked animals.
THe founders were genocidal murderes just like all american presidents have been
MrSuperpunch019 2 years ago

That's capitalism?

Since we are questioning capitalism, i would like to hear what the motivation is for productivity in a socialist society.
1. It is hard to do a cost-benefit analysis, when you do not know the cost.
2. As a worker, since i cannot increase my standard of living, there is a implicit motivation to reduce productivity.
This all being said, i believe socialism is possible, but only when done through free association. State run socialism is doomed to fail.
wuastwais 2 years ago

Keep in mind, that he mainly talks about Europe. They are much different there, very patriotic. In the US, nobody gives a f*ck, wheter another citizen lives or dies, one has to cope with his own problems alone. In Europe, they are very proud of their countries and care for every single inhabitant.
gnu11111 2 years ago 2
Europe has not learned anything from the past century (i.e. the Age of Statism). Governments that were mandated to run and protect the lives of countless of people were directly responsible for the death of millions. The amount of deaths that are caused by the US "each-on-his-own" system is insignificant compared to what European governments did to their own citizens. Even the deaths caused by the illegal wars the US fought are. Mandating government to run the economy and welfare is immoral

I consider myself a libertarian, at least in a broad sense of the word... and I think the idea of a democratic workplace is great! Actually, if you apply free market principles to the firm it leads to a horizontal democratic workplace.

If it isn't profitable then that basically means that there isn't a demand for it.
You want to forcefully take peoples' money in the act of "taxation" and subsidize a business that is not serving the interest of CONSUMERS to the extent that it can make at least enough money (through VOLUNTARY PAYMENTS) to cover its operating expenses and survive in the market.

your example doesn't apply.

- Stop paying your mortgage, the banks don't even have the paperwork. Start paying again when the banks have proof of contract.

I like what you said, but your description of Cuba is more of how I would describe the US, except put 'corporate' between 'state' and 'socialist.'
siradam575 2 years ago
sounds about right.
DeraJa 2 years ago
Its never been given a fair chance, the constant embargo prevents many essential parts from getting in, but even then, the people seem content with what they've got. Why else would they have such a high percentage of doctors and engineers, so many so, that they can send them to the 3rd world for development and training?
siradam575 2 years ago
Cuba go visit the joint absolute destruction of a good people.
All because the government won't allow a free market.

I think this channel should be renamed "Real Marxist Propaganda".
tarossi400 2 years ago
As it is, calling something `Marxist' doesn't constitute a counterargument.
jhip87 2 years ago 3
It wasn't a counter argument, it's a statement.
tarossi400 2 years ago
Well, if you consider it to be "Real Marxist Propaganda", you're entitled to have that opinion. However, I do wonder why you're still watching some of the stories on this channel since they would contain such content that you consider to be "Marxist Propaganda". And no, I'm not saying you can't do so.
flawedbeauty82 2 years ago
I like to know what people are saying...what the word is. I watch and listen to a vast array of things. That's the only way one can have an informed opinion.
Most people, and I'll count you among them, only want to hear things they agree with and then turn around and act as if they've gained some knowledge. They have not.

Watch something else - like the porn that you have listed as your favorite/

This guy is a kook. His digrees are clearly equivalent in value as President Obama's peace prize.
a7sus4 2 years ago
Why is he a kook, because he's challenging the logic of capitalism? Oh, and Obama was given the Nobel Peace prize because he did something Bush has failed to do during his two terms in office, it's called trying to promote peace to other nations. Plus, Obama has managed to get that going in his first year during his first term in office, so the claim that he's done nothing so far is bullshit and you know it.
flawedbeauty82 2 years ago
Notice Obama doesn't talk about the "Federal Reserve" ?
Counterfeiting money is a big no , no in a free society.
You don't even know if Obama is a US citizen no long form Birth Certificate has been provided.
boots920 2 years ago
who gives a fuck where he is from?
DeraJa 2 years ago
Apparently the US government doesn't ?
boots920 2 years ago
I don't know anything of the sort but it's apparent you think you do. I'm very confident that President Obama's foreign policy is a joke with interests resting in superficial imagery as opposed to the protection & prosperity of the American people.
a7sus4 2 years ago
His speech in Egypt made it extra apparent when he announced that the U.S. is not a Judeo-Christian nation. He's very wrong, & he's misplace his alliances in people who have perpetrated far greater crimes against humanity than America ever has including slavery, sexism, & genocide.
a7sus4 2 years ago
This man is a kook not because he challenges the logic of capitalism but because espouses the illogic of socialism as logic. Capitalism is not an acting party, it's a theory of economics. It's not responsible for anything because it can not be. I'd also like to point out that half of the world has become rich (relatively) through the system of capitalism. Prior to it there was much more poorness and poverty. Where you have socialism however, you have evolutionary stagnation.
a7sus4 2 years ago
When you say "evolutionary stagnation", do you take into consideration that evolution is not about technological advancment but survival of the fittest. I think the area in the most desperate need of progress right now is the human consciousness, and for that we need QUALITY culture. A culture focused on engaging in reality rather than escaping from it. I'm not saying that socialism is the way to go but I think we need to look at progress through other filters than just BNP.
SpaceLime 2 years ago
Technological advancement doesn't exist in a vacuum, it's part of the modern human condition and and expression of human evolution. Remarking on survival of the fittest actually only solidifies my argument by pointing out that those who adopt economic systems that diminish individualism for state dominance/tyranny fail to nurture said human spirit in favor of material equalization.
a7sus4 2 years ago
Obama is NOT a president of peace! He is escalating the war in Afghanistan, expanding the war into Pakistan, and is continuing to make relations with Iran even worse. I wouldn't be surprised if US military boots stepped down in Iranian soil before his presidency is over. Obama is just another president serving the interests of US hegemony.
DeraJa 2 years ago
I agree with you. But just to clarify: I didn't mean survival of the fittest on an individual level but of humanity as a whole. I think that perspective is lacking as we struggle for making short term profit. I think that individualism in the form it exists in today is actually as harmful to human spirit as is strict control. The only freedom we have today is to choose whos ass to lick. =) Maybe not quite that bad but maybe you see my point?

I'm really starting to think TheRealNews is really retarded.
ZackServo2point0 2 years ago
it doesn't seem to me like there is anyone in power right now really concerned with what happens to the u.s. nothing is being done to ensure that its economy continues to stay on top, that its power persists. it is totally the opposite. it seems like someone really wants us to fail. our failure will not stop the suffering in the world. another super power will emerge to cause the same amount of suffering minus the accountability towards its own people if they were to know the truth.

$cam global warming.
chewbaca1989 2 years ago
The unions have nothing to do with this and you know it! Answer me this then, if global warming is such a scam, then why are the polar ice caps melting at a fast rate?
flawedbeauty82 2 years ago
Don't ask a stupid chewbaca that question. He will just say there are too many poor people - it's their breath and they chould be killed or allowed to die off.

Sun going through a dim cycle... wait till it brightens back up again literally
martinaoe2 2 years ago 4
From Maine to California the weather changes with the seasons. The same happens on other continents, and thus on other planets as well. Mars has far worse "global warming" than Earth... but no factories or automobiles or even pollution that we know of. Also, Mars don't have inbred tyrants trying to form a global dictatorship. Using bunk science & hype to form a "global carbon tax" cannot change the weather CYCLES of the Sun.
Sorry, most seasoned farmers already know this stuff.
GnosticNinja 2 years ago 3
Yea my dad is a farmer and he dont believe in it idir.
But I have seen a chart with the periods of dim and bright periods:
It correlates to an increase in temps over the last 100 years.
Mars is not earth.
I am a free market thinker and do believe the market will deliever the solution but will it be too late to stop currrents from changing?
Alot of Qs.
martinaoe2 2 years ago 3

Ready to hate anyone who says any different
the fools march onward.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Another problem is the lazy masses of the ignorant who think global warming is a myth.

You= dork who believes nonsense.

Where is it. Better trump the actual recorded data and satellite images. Go ahead, show it to me or shut the fuck up. Post it here for all to see.
