Did you see SIlva vs Leites.. Silva really couldnt impose his will and it went to a split decision. I know silva likes to start off slow and feel his opponent out, then turn it up and start knocking ppl out, but this fight was disappointing. ISilva needs to turn it up for his next fights because ppl are going to be gunnin for him after a performance like he put on last sat.

no way can he give him a run, it took GSP 4 rds to stop BJ Penn and he couldn't even physically stop him. standing he was so scared to attack Penn who was obviously gassed and just grinded him out all the way. Anderson is a lot bigger, a lot stronger, and a huge striking advantage and ace jiu jitsu, GSP only has the wrestling advantage.

yeah, i saw Leites fall down and cower away from Anderson the entire fight, i saw Anderson completely and utterly dominate Leites on the ground and make Leites give up after rd 2. he didn't put a mark on his face because he didn't hit him in the face, did you look at Leites' leg after all those side kicks to the knee? GSP got rocked from Matt Serra, if Anderson hits him with anything clean it's over, Silva can finish the fight at any moment GSP has to grind to win.

I think you're right. Shogun has done poorly in the UFC. He used to be touted like Anderson Silva and now he's gone downhill from his Pride days; he was a bad ass then but now he's questionable for going the distance.

I was, although I didn't rule Shogun out, I figured Chuck had a good chance since Shogun didn't look good against Forest and Coleman. (And I can show you where I posted this before the fight) my theory was thus: Shogun had his cardio on he would do well, and if not, Liddell would get the win.

Obviously, Shogun took it seriously. What is cool is that it was evident both fighters showed respect at the beginning of the fight.
