I hope that nobody actually has it in their heads that we are 'citizens' of any country.. when I think 'citizen', i think of someone who is respected by their government and not manipulated and controlled.. we are SUBJECTS of the american empire. it might not really be technically a difference, but when you think of the image of a 'citizen' and then think of the subjects of a king in feudal times, see what you feel closer to
