Okay, I think I can help with the singing part. Only I believe in two or three sections was a computer used to generate the tone wanted, the most obvious one is the 1:04- 1:06, another is a 1:14- 1: 16 though the use is only partial. make any sense? As for how high she gets, its rumored when the song was made, the singer kept telling him to make it higher and higher.

In the "making of" on the blu-ray they say that the divas voice was digitally altered to hit tones that humans cannot. To quote it directly.

"Normally the human voice can do 2 octaves, but we edited her voice so that she covers 4 and a half octaves."

So there you go, her voice is not humanly possible and that was the point.
