no sure if u know how to fix this problem i'm having, i downloaded a screenpack and when in MUGEN menu words or character names show up, basically words don't show except in battle.

open "select.def" using notepad and right at the bottom of the file there should be the following lines (look for em)

arcade.maxmatches=1,0,0,0,0,0,­0,0,0,0

team.maxmatches=1,0,0,0,0,0,0,­0,0,0

change to this (or copy and paste these lines over em):

arcade.maxmatches=1,2,3,4,5,6,­7,8,10

team.maxmatches=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,­8,10

Get more characters. Arcade mode makes you fight the amount of chars that you have in the game.

I need help with MUGEN Plus!

When I'm playing in Arcade mode, the timer is change to zero in seconds!

It will countdown fast, not like the default

It's...too fast! What should I do?

go to your data folder,then go to your fight .def file

find the section where it says time

then go to where it says frames per count=

put 60 after the =

if you put it on 60,it will go slowest as possible,you have it on a low number,which makes the time go faster

open your "mugen.cfg" file using notepad and look for the following lline (located near the top):

Time =-1

change the time to however long you want to be...for example

Time = 60 ;for 60 secs

Time = 90 ;for 90 secs

Time = -1 ;for infinite time

so that means you can use low-res stages here in mugen plus but u gotta add d hires=1 into the stage info right?

Mines works backwards, the Hi-res are normal but when it comes to Low- Res the backgrounds are smaller and there are holes creating a "Hall of Mirrors" effect.

Can you help me?

for stage def file where it say bgvolume = what is the highest number you can put there? And or does max work? Because my music volume is usually very low on certain stages for some reason.

like vs mode except you can chose the oppent and its a cpu

What ya do, is go to "Watch" mode and select who you want to be, and select your opponent. Then, just before the announcer says "Fight" or something, hold "Ctrl" and press "1". Enjoy, and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask : ) .

ok any mugen hi res i mean i have one but does that mean its a plus version??? im using MVC 2 screen pack its hi res and so are my stages... but when i put a low res stage it doesnt look right can you make it hi res??? or do i just find that same one in hi res???

sorry it's everything the stages don't work and the sound is all werid you said to go to my search box and look for something right the stages still is really close to the screen and i did what you said maybe the mugen is croupted?

For your stages, did you remember to put Hires = 1 under [StageInfo] in all of your Hi-Res stage's .def file? And as for the sound, if all of your music is messed up, then it probably means you need a certain plugin. If that's so, then search up "Mugen Soundfix Tutorial" which is by "DJCross619" and follow that tutorial.

i fixed the inverted colors problem but now another problem i have is that the select screen is zoomed out so its small, do you know why that is???...Also Mugen Plus does make my HR chars look very good but at the same time it makes my regular chars look bad, so whats up with that???...

Is your screenpack Hi-Res? Also if your talking about your Low-Res characters, how do they look bad?

i dont think my screenpack is hi-res im using the EVE Battle screenpack...now about the chars, in mugen plus it makes the quality of my low-res chars bad to where u can really see the pixels, they look more boxxy, does that happen to you???...

EVE Battle is Low-Res, so it won't work. Well it will, you'll just have the results you have now. Also, I'm not sure. Probably not, or I just haven't noticed it. Can you send me a picture of the character?

Is it a Hi-Res screenpack? Also does all the music in your Mugen sound messed up? Like the stage music, select music, title, etc. If so, go to the search box and put in "Mugen Soundfix Tutorial" by "DJCross619" and follow that tutorial and see if it helps.
