It takes skill i understand, but id still get mad after being trapped in those minute long combos. Maybe if their was an air recovery...

Jokes aside, it is very hard to do some of this, and remember it's only one character your loosing, you should think of it like this, think about what happened in that match, learn from the game, adapt to it and grow. If everyone had the mentality you had we wouldn't have anti-sentinal tech or phoenix. Think out of the box.

I believe now they patch out the infinite combos, and not many ppl have the timing to follow Thru, let us not forget lag to avoid being a victim of a long combos u have to use projectiles spamming aka zoning . To be truly good at this game, u must master the block, throw, advance defense, and the recover. Where to recover to be more specific. P.S. Sentinel needs to be deleted from the game.

I believe Dante is one of the characters with medium to Low life gauge, In all the matches I see him getting owned he dies quite fast with a few hits. Alot of these combos wouldn't happen vs a real player, because

1. This is vs the training CPU, it does nothing to move away/recover from the hits.

2. Your HC gauge wouldn't be that high for most of the 3rd lvl HC's to continue the combos.

Everyone sticks to these combos throughout the game and all we do is watch our characters die one by one. It's unfair advantage of the recovery frames are so narrow whereas the combos have a lot of open frames to be executed. If the life bars wouldn't diminish so quickly, then yeah, I would've reconsidered playing the game more.

Both players can perform these types of combos and this is the action and speed of the game the whole time. Since MVC1 for the first time a game can represent what would be a super powered heroes fight with all the action and speed of them. Too bad there are so many horrible ridiculous characters, instead of more super heroes and powerful ones.
