The hunt is the fun of those who have nothing else to do. Firer takes pleasure because the suffering of an animal for many hunters is no reason to vent their problems. Many animals are injured by hunters, they manage to escape, but die after much suffering. I saw people killed after an animal has nearly reached orgasm .. this is pathological! There is no excuse for this crime. I am vegan so I do not buy meat at the supermarket. The human race is still very backward to understand certain things.

I don't see anything wrong with hunting if you eat what you shoot, I do however hate the large pheasant shoots etc where birds are raised in captivity fed until they are fat released and then chased towards a load of guns and then the majority end up being thrown or used as dog food.

I own a few guns and regulary shoot, and live in the country and hate to see waste.

As for the vegan please realise that the human body has evolved as an omnivore, and for it to survive and can process meat and veg

@truplek I would just like to point out that hunters and organizations like Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Whitetails Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and many others provide more funding and are more involved with land and wetland restoration as well as population health than any other Government or non-profit agencies out there. We like to hunt, and more power to you if you would rather do something else. Just know that we respect life in all aspects of nature as well.

Of course the animals use weapons, most lion's teeth are sharper than a kitchen knife and their claws can tear through skin like nothing. At least hunters kill their prey in a quick and relatively painless way, rather than chewing on the gazelle while its still alive. Hunting is the nicer side of nature, watch an episode of national geographic and you'll see the ugly side.

The hunter who uses a gun is not natural because it is a slaughter of animals without the need but only as a hobby. This can not you understand why you overlook the nature of life and neglect just because you want to kill for fun. The lion, however, kill just to survive. I am vegan, but I say just to make you understand that even I do not eat the flesh of the market, do not eat eggs, no cheese or drink milk.
