I hope they're better because my 6 hp and 50 hp Evinrude that I bought in 1998 are the two most troublesome outboards I have ever seen. The 50 horse has NEVER worked properly since the day I bought it.

@SCROGY you have a POS Ficht outboard from when Evinrude was on the ropes and almost bankrupt before BRP bought them and made them incredible.
