@MikeSali96 that's because american kids have better things to do like video games, watching the jersey shore, and deciding whether or not they are gay.
@artmak5 these kids prob worked their butts off for a long time, prob set a record or won a competition, and they were as happy as any other team that one, young girls tend to cry when they achieve something, and young boys tend to be VERY excited, this is true world wide, and can be seen in any sport or competition between young people, now if these were adults, you would have some merit, but they are kids, let them have their fun before they are thrust into adulthood
@artmak5 They worked hard to get the record and they're happy about it. You're the stupid one, insulting kids. Is there something wrong with being happy and having fun?
@Hatchwork - I know how happiness looks like, and these poor kids been breaking their bones to achieve some stupid prize that nobody will care about as soon as they win, its not worth wasting your childhood risking breaking your bones in some stupid world record thats gonna be beat in like next week by another team of stupid bone breaking fanatic kids.
Typifies the Japanese spirit, but I can never get over seeing those kids being put into such stress levels. I still think life is too short to live this way, but then it's their choice...
as elementary students, i don't think a lot of the people in the U.S. can get into something THIS much. i think they run faster with they're legs tired to another 30 people that i can run alone. xD fail.
9:35 is pretty good, specially back in 2006. This means they have a chance at the finals. Now days you need a sub 9:10 to have a chance at national domination. Otherwise you just show up and cry your hearts out when you loose on National TV.
They all started off as pairs, then threes, and so on, they practiced a lot and there were some serious injuries, but a great experience for these 12 year olds...
