  • I really love your work.

    One question though. I am going to be learning this software. I am not the best drawer though. In your opinion, is it a needed skill or can someone with an average drawing level still produce good work?

  • @UrbanPAJFreeman000 It depends what you mean by average? Good traditional drawing skill in my opinion is essential, you really should have concept art to work off of for anything you model, if you're modeling existing objects you can get away with photos but its a limitation. You should never model freeform, your design should be of a high standard on paper first. Additionally its good because along the way you learn everything you need to know about anatomy, composition, etc

  • @Sacredor When I say average, I mean that a person who views it can tell what it is, but it is not mind blowing lol.

    I do draw my concepts to work I produce. One of my teachers said that as long as i can make out what it is, it should be fine, but I will be going to uni soon and i am worried that my lack of skill might hurt my chances of getting on the course.
