Oh my goodness Keith, isn't this absolutely BEAUTIFUL?!?!?! I think your video is good, after watching it I realize my are just at the pre-beginner level!!
Truly one of my all-time favourite songs. Also one of my first videos - a lot of powerpoint man hours! And thanks for the hugs, let's hope LV isn't watching.
I saw Brian perform about ten years ago -2000. He wore too much make-up (red lipstick), his face was powder white and he looked like a vampire. He sang well but was nervous and kept looking at his wife and son who were part of his band. That's one way to keep your family together.
A real talent. I've got a later album of his, "A State of Bayou" where he sings a lot of Toussaint-penned numbers. Beautiful! But anyone who can come back from a novelty number like "Itsy Bitsy" and go on to have a career in music has to be saluted. (My favourite was always Ginny Come Lately).
'Ginny' always has been something special. I saw Mr H. perform in '98 and '00. Looked pretty good for a chap who had a hit in 1960. Talking novelty, there's also 'Cozy Compact Little Car'. He also did a nice version of 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone' , which I haven't heard in years.
Dang me! what a great playing by the band and singers!!!!
Don`t ever take this song from you tube please!

I also saw him in 2000. He came on, did his bit, no more, no less. I guess you get road weary after 40 years.

Great song, from a gal named Rosemary. Brian looks about twelve. He sure started young.

I think he was 17 when he recorded this one.
