Any Entire professionaly filmed concerts from the somewhere in time tour anyone? I love this floydy-maiden sound that they chucked in with the album / live tour of this album. Reminds me so much of the wing commander games and blade runner

@favsncrap: Type in "Philadelphia 1987". That is the only pro-shot concert from this tour. Paris 1986 is semi-pro shot. Also semi pro-shot: Sweden 1986.

Even though I've been a fan of Maiden since '81,it still irks me a bit to realize I never saw this live.....why they don't do this anymore baffles me...this is a tremendous piece of music from who in my opinion,is the greatest guitar duo in ANY music's history....the wonderful thing is they stil enjoy the crap out themselves when playing live,you can see it from their smiles and jumping around,and these guys are in their 50's now,lol.....great band,greater guys in it!!

Those two guitarists have the perfect complimenting tones for eachother. Adrian's tone screams and cuts through the air with aggression, while Dave's tone soars over it, smoothly weeping with fluid emotion. One delivers warmth and feeling, while the other one delivers virtuosic ferocity.

And I'm seeing them tonight. 8D

It really made me remember that even though their newer stuff isn't as Iconic, it's still fucking great. It's gonna be a long month but trust me you've got a good show to look forward to. I would like to see a duel like this here in Monterrey, MX... I listen Iron Maiden since I was 6, now I'm almst 36 and they are still my favorite heavy metal band. Anyway, I'm proud becuase I saw them in Monterrey in 1996, San Benito TX and Monterrey in 1998, and recently in Monterrey 2008 and 2009 with their "Somewhere Back in Time" Tour. Long live to these incredible guys... UP THE IRONS!

@bathoryfan95 Adrian and Dave have always used Marshall amps. Exceptions are the albums "Somewhere in time" and "Seventh son of a seventh son" and of course the tours then where they used Galien Krueger amps.

@bathoryfan95 If you are asking especially for this video - i have no idea. The only thing i'm sure about that video is that Adrian plays a Jackson guitar (the one that looks like a fender, with the six knobs), a guitar synth and a Galien Krueger amp. Other pedals..... no idea...

This is why Davey and Adrian are my all time favourite and most influential guitarists to me, they just can't be touched. I can come close to playing like this on a lucky day when i'm playing really great with a good sound and have been warming up for quite some time, and i've been playing a lot Maiden stuff for quite a while now. Adrian and Dave just seem to walk on stage and create magic!
