wow,u're so lucky to have such a great border,my Steve isn't crazy,he is so calm and serious,he is now 6 months old but he has always been a serious puppy and he's not so crazy for frisbee,he loves playing with other dogs
aww look at that...she was soo tiny hahaha and NON fluffy haha happy? but tawnys like a duster =) sienna was more like..swiffer? hahahaha ill still take her!
Do lots of rollers for her and try to run back with her and make her chase you, rub the frisbee on the ground and try to make her go nuts for it and then throw a roller for her. Make it a game of all fun!!! GIVE LOTS OF PRAISE when she takes off for it too! Best of luck to you and your new pup.
Glad to hear that you are not pushing too hard or too young - you are a young man with great dogs and a great future - you really must try agility sometime - our family does a lot of agility and it is a great sport to enjoy with your dog.
Sorry Preston, when I sent the message I thought it might come across a bit negative. I was just wondering if starting them so young did affect them in any way. I think Sienna is a cracking looking puppy & wish you lots of success with her.
Well you just don't want to do any serious jumping until they are 18 months of age. You do lots of ground work until they are about a year old. Then you can start upping their training.
wouldn't say that I am doing anything to cause future damage to her hips. I am not jumping her or anything. She is ten months old now and she loves catching a frisbee and she is fast as lightning. So if you want to complain to me and tell me I am doing something wrong with my dog, just send me a message personally. Remember, Skye was my first dog, she is my second, I know their limits and limitations....
Oh yeah and she also came from one of the top show dog breeders in the world with her being OFA Good and OFA Excellent. She is certainly by no means a barbie collie!!

GREAT pup! Mind if I ask what breeder you got her from? I show and breed Border Collies (that are also NOT barbie collies).
