informative indeed.plus nice sound on that flat top. However you tubers should know... Lester used a thumb pick and fingers and not flat picking . Either way Fab..Curly also used this run as well
best way to get SPPED on them runs is to hybird pick instead of flatpicking. learning to hybird will allow you to true master country and rockabilly also. cant master either without being able to hybird pick
I've seen this run taught on 5 different vids here, and couldn't get it because they didn't tell me about the up-stroke on the D-string. Got IT Tnx!!!
That is not a true Lester Flatt G run. Yes it is a G run just not how Lester Flatt did it. Anyways good job on G runs.

@bluegrasssingingman Yes, you're right. Just wanted to attribute the lick to Lester, since he made it famous.

Thank you so much for breaking it down. You're a good teacher. The lick sounds better the faster you play.

@ming746 Chicken picking is a good skill to have and it produces a nice sound. It's not a replacement for flatpicking, though. Just different stuff.

@keenervids chicken pickin and hybrid picking are two completly different things, thats a commopn misconception people seem to have
