Guy Fawkes was a hardcore radical Catholic who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and King James 1st/ 6th because he was a Protestant. He was upset that the Pope did not have a greater role in the ruling of our country and because we weren't paying lots of money to the Pope. Guy Fawkes wanted the Kingdoms of England and Scotland to be slaves / bitches to the Catholic Church.
He isn't some sort of anarchist like the film V for Vendetta portrays him. He believed in theocracy.
