I live in Memphis Tennessee, and my sisters new house got wrecked really bad. When we where taking my college student sister back up to Jackson my lord it was horrible. Huge trees where taken out of the ground..it was sad.
I also live in Jackson , Tn. It missed us by about a 1/4 mile. It did get Roy Mitchell's country store and the fire station across from him, as well as the sub division behind him and some houses around him. The store in this video, I used to work at. It breaks my heart. All of us were lucky as hell that night. great job on the video
i live in jackson Tn....its amazing what tornados can do but you dont know how bad it hurts you until it happens.....watchin on the news you think its bad and feel sorry for everyone.....but actually driving by and looking at what it has done really gets you.....i pray for everyone and their families that have been effected by this disaster........and pray that god will help the people in need
I live here in Jackson,Tenn why do we always get it? Jackson will never be the same. 1999, 2002, 2003 and 2008. It went over my home. God bless Jackson
This is sad. I haven't lived in Jackson in years but it's where I was born. I remember a bunch of tornadoes came through years ago and did the same thing. The neighborhood where I lived when I was born was leveled somewhere off old Hickory Blvd.
I think that it's amazing that no one died at the university that got hit. Lots of bad injuries but no deaths is amazing. A former student at my school was in the collapsed dormitory. He's going into surgery at 4:00 EST today
mostly electronics, food, toiletrees, and cars were damaged. clothes were recoverable if you could get in the room. i personally just want to get back to school, but now first i have to get a job, take some classes, buy a new computer and car etc... it will probably just take time
absolutely we do! i live in huntersville,tn. about 7 miles from union.( we are most of the pics in the middle of the video.) union was very lucky! mostly updraft of funnel. we were hit on the ground. destroyed evrything these people out here have. lost everything. 2 dead! you don't really hear about these people much. usually union. thanks so much for asking. it's been frusterating that union has gotten all attention. there was widespread damage all over. not just there!
I was blessed enough to survive this as well. I think this is well put together. Amazing grace is beautiful, even with sax, and boy, does it fit the situation.
I had to turn off the music...saxophones are obnoxious anyway, and the clapping sounds were scary. Anyway, we live near this area and are thankful that all of the students survived this ordeal.
I love the hymn Amazing Grace, and it was through grace that all survived, but there are more musical arrangements. It's a nice tribute and someone is very talented to be able to put together a presentation so quickly.
Yea the one last year got my house we were in the bathroom and everything in our house was gone but the bathroom. Thank God.
