Why do the people not elect more men like Ron Paul?
Are there just no others on par with the integrity and principles of Ron Paul? The only choices we get time and time again are wolfs in sheeps clothing only out to advance themselves. Does our society even promote integrity and the Constitution any more? Maybe this is why Ron Paul is in a minority of one in congress.
This is part of it. The other reason is that the sheeple don't want to do any work on their own, so they take the candidates at the value the media gives them, instead of taking the extra time to see what each candidate REALLY stands for. That's how these slimes get into office: they're good on camera, and they are interesting enough outside of office that the media loves reporting on them, so they give them some extra help on their "objective" reporting. And the average American accepts it.

Ron Paul is dead on. The Government (Sheepherder's) keep cooking the books and telling the sheep that we have a oil shortage and that is why fuel costs so much. The sheep in turn want more oil production and blame the oil companies for 4 cents on the dollar oil profit because the sheepherders don't want anyone to think they are to blame. But we all know that the sheephearders are to blame by allowing more printing of money out of thin air and causing inflation across the board.

Perhaps Secretary of the Treasury would enable Ron Paul to create competing currencies and/or otherwise phase out the Federal Reserve. Many needed changes to our foreign policy would then materialize once the Federal Reserve is abolished. I'm sure Barr could find a non-interventionist, Constitution-obeying Secretary of State to shift from world bully to strong national defense.
I love libertydollar. The only problem is almost nobody accepts them and it's illegal to even use them as a currency. I'm in Ohio but I've heard the Free State Project is having issues with status quo minded people coming in from Massachusetts to undermine their work.

I used to live there. There is only a tiny bit of resistance and when they connect with the Free Staters, they are transformed for life. That truly often happens. You can see it in the forums. Getting business owners on board would be extremely difficult at best. Many business owners have too much time, money, and livelihood invested to lose all assets, get arrested, and serve a lengthy jail sentence. I at times resist change but there are perfectly legal opportunities to promote a positive change to our crashing dollar backed by nothing. We must elect smaller government, sound money, and Constitution obeying officials and work with them to undo the damage.
I asked EVERY merchant I spoke with in NH about it. When I explained it to the ones who didn't know anything about it, they said they would enthusiastically accept silver instead. I'm sure I can get many vendors to accept it and participate in the system of the non-system ;)

A powerful individual decentralized economy. Do you understand what that means or did you go to Canadian Government Skools where you were taught that socialism is a good thing? The picture is much larger than you appear to have a grasp of currently.
As Ron has said the low hanging fruit on the spending fiasco is in Foreign Policy. Significant reductions in military funding in Korea, Germany, Iraq, and Japan would be good starters, best done from Secretary of State. The Federal Reserve abolishment/currency-retooling would follow. Spending and debt have to be under control first, as hitting on the Fed first will bring on dangerous mischief from global central bankers that the US would not be able to control.
I understand that our world bully foreign policy is a severe issue. I am simply saying it may be easier for Barr to find a Secretary of State to properly manage and overhaul foreign policy than it would be to find someone other than Ron Paul to deal with the whacked monetary policy.

I would have a lot of trouble working in that environment and with that very misguided and motley Congressional crew. At least we have one Congressional physician that's accurately diagnosed the cancer, has offered very specific treatments to cure it, and informs the People of how the patient's doing. I agree. Imagine Dr. Paul having the media compete to get a 5 minute daily spot. He could discuss the bills of the day in plain English and his position. He is, as media pundits have stated, good for ratings. It would be a matter of time before someone would offer a longer time slot. This could be a pipe dream, or the start of something big.

If he got positive or even neutral coverage on the nightly news and news papers and more importantly used INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING (what reporters used to do, now they just do PR work) and showed how truthfully Dr. Paul has spoken and how the others are speaking out of the side of their mouths. The NWO is coming down. The Asians aren't going to put up with the U.S. rich families anymore. America will suffer financial bad times; however, like Peter Schiff said, "America will either move to more freedom or to more government."
Dr Paul should have been doing this 5-10 minute updates every week for the last 18 months. Not keeping in touch with the grassroots was a real oversight on the official campaign's behalf. Let's hope the Campaign for Liberty is a bit more proactive about such things.

This is great! I hope Ron Paul and the Campaign for Liberty makes videos to educate us on all bills that are up. Members will be so educated in a few years on what's going on and how things work in Washington. This is the transparency we need. keep them coming.
Also I recommend setting up his office to be a studio so you can make these videos more easily and without background noise, wind, etc.

Ron Paul is dead on. The Government (Sheepherder's) keep cooking the books and telling the sheep that we have a oil shortage and that is why fuel costs so much. The sheep in turn want more oil production and blame the oil companies for 4 cents on the dollar oil profit because the sheepherders don't want anyone to think they are to blame. But we all know that the sheephearders are to blame by allowing more printing of money out of thin air and causing inflation across the board.

Perhaps Secretary of the Treasury would enable Ron Paul to create competing currencies and/or otherwise phase out the Federal Reserve. Many needed changes to our foreign policy would then materialize once the Federal Reserve is abolished. I'm sure Barr could find a non-interventionist, Constitution-obeying Secretary of State to shift from world bully to strong national defense.

I love libertydollar. The only problem is almost nobody accepts them and it's illegal to even use them as a currency. I'm in Ohio but I've heard the Free State Project is having issues with status quo minded people coming in from Massachusetts to undermine their work.

All people, including myself (if we are being honest) are resistant to change.
I used to live there. There is only a tiny bit of resistance and when they connect with the Free Staters, they are transformed for life. That truly often happens. You can see it in the forums. The people comment and are soon woken up kindly. It is amazing. If you don't piss a few people off, you are probably doing it wrong... ( Socialist's that is :P )

Getting business owners on board would be extremely difficult at best. Many business owners have too much time, money, and livelihood invested to lose all assets, get arrested, and serve a lengthy jail sentence. I at times resist change but there are perfectly legal opportunities to promote a positive change to our crashing dollar backed by nothing. We must elect smaller government, sound money, and Constitution obeying officials and work with them to undo the damage.

I asked EVERY merchant I spoke with in NH about it. When I explained it to the ones who didn't know anything about it, they said they would enthusiastically accept silver instead. I'm sure I can get many vendors to accept it and participate in the system of the non-system ;)
Also, I'm not the only one who walks in and mentions this stuff to them. Get enough people chatting about it, it will become the norm.

As Ron has said the low hanging fruit on the spending fiasco is in Foreign Policy. Significant reductions in military funding in Korea, Germany, Iraq, and Japan would be good starters, best done from Secretary of State. The Federal Reserve abolishment/currency-retooling would follow. Spending and debt have to be under control first, as hitting on the Fed first will bring on dangerous mischief from global central bankers that the US would not be able to control.

I would have a lot of trouble working in that environment and with that very misguided and motley Congressional crew. At least we have one Congressional physician that's accurately diagnosed the cancer, has offered very specific treatments to cure it, and informs the People of how the patient's doing. Too bad they won't let the doctor perform the necessary surgery & apply the appropriate treatments. Looks like the patient is going to die.

I agree. Imagine Dr. Paul having the media compete to get a 5 minute daily spot. He could discuss the bills of the day in plain English and his position. He is, as media pundits have stated, good for ratings. It would be a matter of time before someone would offer a longer time slot. This could be a pipe dream, or the start of something big.

That's what I did :) also get things others would not think of like clothing pins and line get stuff from the dollar store that people would think it will always be there. They will fetch a premium price in other goods.
If you have any credit cards wait until the wake up to a dollar collapse then run to the grocery store and buy up as much as you can before the store closes.
