  • 有味道!佩服。

  • 哪里,让你见笑了。

  • very soothing piece. I seemed to have noticed a few notes that were off, but I'm no guqin expert, nor am I chinese, so it might be meant to. it just sounded weird to me. but I still favourited the piece.

    keep it up!

  • Thank you very much for the comments!

  • Very nice, I like Pei Qin too.

  • Thank you wingplum! Yes, Pei Qin has a very elegant sound.

  • Last month I booked one Qin in banana leaf style with Mr.Pei. I told him this video is the cause of it. Hopefully I'll have my Pei Qin in an year's time.

  • Congratulations! I admire Mr. Pei very much for his guqin making skill and playing style (he is a true master of the Wumen style[吴门琴派]), and he is also known for his hospitality towards visitors. I visited him twice and I was so impressed by his love of music and enjoyed very much the learning experience I had. I am sure you will too.

  • very nice. something very passionate mood gradually. your sound make me happier. i must recommend my girlfriend to learn Guqin. or i have to learn it, too. it seems good for us mentally. thanks for your great piece. do you still play it often? i always love your sound. see you!

  • Hi ayanhito, welcome back!! Thank you so much for the comments, and I am honored that you enjoy my playing. Yes, I still play guqin, and I am currently practicing some new pieces, though slowly. It's wonderful to know that you are interested in learning guqin (hope your girlfriend will like it too), and I am sure that with your great musical talent, you will be a brilliant qin player!!

  • you should both do it.

  • This piece has bits sounding like 石上流泉.

    Very lovely.

  • Thank you Charlie! Yes, I do believe 石上流泉 and 碧涧流泉 have the same origin, but evolved differently. 碧涧流泉 seems to have a Cantonese flavor; after all, it stayed there for 700 years.

  • very enjoyable video, thanks for posting :)

  • Thank you very much, and I'm very glad you like it :-)

  • If the ratings had been on I would have left an awsome. This is just beautiful.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • Thank you very much indeed for your kind comments :-)

  • very enjoyable tune.

  • According to tradition, this piece is one of the guqin pieces brought to Gangzhou 冈州 by the Southern Song royal house in exile after the Mongols invaded Song China in the 1270s (Gangzhou 冈州 is today's Xinhui 新会city in Guangdong 广东 Province). 碧涧流泉 has become one of the representative pieces of the Linnan School 岭南派.

  • Thank you for explaining the origin of this piece of music!

  • Beautiful.

  • Thank you :-)
