I gotta say, this was the first season I've watched. I enjoyed Top Chef a lot, but the worst part of this show is watching Chef Ramsy PMSsing all the damn time as if he doesn't make mistakes. I just watched an episode where he actually fucks up the order. He tells them twice, "2 ducks, 2 chicken, 2 steaks, then he repeats it and says 3 ducks..." Was it on purpose? Either way, Salvator ended up screwing the order up and his cursed him out. Sal thought it was his fault, but it was Ramsy's...

What was really annoying about this season was no one like Autumn so, they kept trying to get her out and Jay nominated her in the final 4 because he had a crush on Holi and was "buddies" with Ben. Not for there culinary skills

Thus, he must also have a high expectation and I think it's his passion to complete the first dinner since he always fails to do it in the other 6 seasons.
