Hi Paul

I purchased my first cajon yesterday.

I've already found myself leaning over to hit the bass sound...

I'm 6ft 2, and very long in the body.

Everytime I lean back for a good straight back, I'm unable to hit the drum, only the edge/rim.

Do you know of anything that i could to prevent this ?

another tip is that you can lean back with the cajon so you can reach farther without having to bend down so much.

All right people...let's break our wrists on this. That makes more sense. Any cajon that is still in 3 dimensions when you're done playing...means you didn't play it right.
