Reverse grip puts more of an emphasis on the upper chest, anterior deltoids and triceps. Some studies actually have found that reverse grip bench presses recruit more upper chest fibers than incline presses do.
As long as you keep your thumbs wrapped around the bar and have a good spotter, you should be fine.

Damn, I've never heard of the rev. grip bench before. What's it supposed to work? Looks kinda dangerous to me...
