  • Thanks for the interviews Mr. Favreau. I loved your Freddiew movie and how you reached out and embraced the Youtube community. I will forever be a fan.

We are also fans of 2D. I like it too when its done well and not just to increase the boxoffice by offering what sometimes seems like a gimmick presentation.

Too cool how Mr Ford understands that too much CGI is not good for the story if it doesn't enhance the story. Love that.

  • chuck norris is harrison ford's bitch

  • Wow, Harrison criticizes filmmakers for making 2000 cow-sized ants instead of just one very dangerous one. Does this sound like he is criticizing the ants in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Sounds like it slipped out. There you have it: Harrison Ford dislikes Indy 4

  • @leebrandt33 anybody with sight or hearing dislikes indy 4

  • @leebrandt33

I don't blame him. Indy 4 was terrible on multiple levels.

  • @leebrandt33

More like criticizing the Star War prequels for tainting the epicness that was the original trilogy. Han Solo > everything.

  • Wait, does hit mean Harrison Ford has seen one cow-sized ant? I guess he must have kicked it ass.

  • Harrison and Jon make sense.

  • It does make a lot of sense. Excessive use of 3D can take a film out of understandable terms.

  • Genius? Makes a lot of sense?

They are talking about two different things.

Harrison Ford sounds confused. He confused 3d cgi in general with stereoscopic 3d. The things Harrison Ford is saying has been done to death in 2d a billion more times than stereoscopic. Jons comments aren't a argument, they are his opinion. He feels the audience should make up their mind on distance instead of seeing it for themselves. Not really a solid argument.

  • perspective, the 3D, human scale, relatable. this stuff is genius. This is the best case against 3D i've heard.

  • @klaybush 3D works, as Jon said, if you don't care about the audience's perception of depth. He didn't shoot Cowboys & Aliens in 3D because it was his artistic goal to have ambiguity in the depth of shots, which is totally understandable.

  • makes a lot of sense.
