My rough estimate is October. The track work can probably be done in 2 months or so but then there's the scenery work. That could take a while. Hopefully I can get it out earlier though.
Depends on the settings - you can save AVIs in movie maker - though that should be clear by the ginormous file size.
I do understand why people save in wmv, I personally dislike ti though - too much quality loss in most of the settings... just wish Youtube could up the upload size and length restriction.
The whole thing will be availible for download as a package. Don't expect it out for a few months though. I still have lots of track work ahead of me and then there's the scenery place so it will still be a while.
When are you going to have this route done by...I would love a copy of it.

OMG I need HELP!!! I made an MSTS video with fraps and the file size cam out to 185MB! do you know anyway to fix it? because youtubes limit is 100MB

Um... I used fraps, and it came out as an .avi file

Open up Windows Movie Maker, put the AVI file in there, and save it. It will them be in WMV form. :)

You'll need to use the Route Geometry Extractor first though. Open up the help page for more info on how to use it.
