The original, more "civilized" version of the bugs...well...I don't know, they just didn't seem that awesome or terrifying.

@XFire93112 In the books everyone in the Mobile Infantry had actual power armor. It's implied that it would be fairly slim, like the armor in this game, but it'd cover your entire body and be far heavier armor than this glorified flak-jacket looking armor here.

no, its the other way around. Halo took most of their ideas(concepts, weapons, armor, just almost everything) from starship troopers. although the movies never had the super suit(marauder suit) until the 3rd movie they had it in this game. I wont lie, Halo is a great game but i think they should have credited SST for taking their original ideas. just read the SST book and it will "remind" u of halo because no one really knew about SST before.

eh....i just thought that the covenant was kinda cliche-ish. I just loved the idea that there were bugs out there that can out think us; and here on earth we dont think of them. We just crush them lol. I just get a little ticked when Halo fans run around sayin its the best game and they have no idea of where it really came from. Like i said before I'd be really happy if the creators just came out and said yes, we took SST's ideas. I do hope they make an updated game and a 4th movie! =)

Graphics are NOT, no matter what you think, what makes a game. Play a game through without caring about graphics, maybe you'll like it. A game's story, difficulty, dialogue, etc are what makes a good game.
