so... you kept your cool outwardly- something to be said for that... i was cool until i was about 6 and then life started throwing some real coolness obliterating stuff at me & hasn't ever really quit...
me, i have lost mah cool time and again. after a while i did see that even when panic takes over, my cool is not necessarily all gone. there's youthful cool & wise old cool. i'm somewhere in between now, uncool but aiming toward the coolness
