what did u fix? my laptop overheated due to the broken cpu fan and it friedmy gpu and i had to reflow the mobo in the oven. did u have the same problem? and if so it it fix it permantly or temporarily?
@TokyoChopSquad i fixed the issue months ago. bought a new cpu fan for about 15 bucks. took the mobo out and put it in the oven for 10 min at 350 degrees to re flow broken solder from the overheating . hasnt over heated or died since. its been months and i use it for hours every day...
@TokyoChopSquad yup, the heat of the oven melts the solder back in place and fixes the lost connection. there's other ways to do it with heat guns and what not but it didn't work for me. last option was the oven trick and it worked perfect. just make sure to take out the cpu. the graphics chip is built into the mobo so you need to put the whole mobo in the oven to fix it. just make sure u dont put it in too long and take off all of the foam pads and stuff like that.
@kenshearer1 , from the minute 7:10 to 7:35 that is the monitor cable :) but about the DVD drive you are correct , i think i cut out i dont know why , sorry !! :) , thanks for visiting !!
Hi.I have this model of Gateway Laptop and the problem is that a glass of juice spread in the keyboard can you tell how i remove the keyboard to clean it?
@CaptainScarlet2006 , hi , thanks for the question , you will need to remove the plastic cover that cover the screws to remove the keyboard , that cover is the same that have the computer power bottom and media bottoms , that entire cover has to be removed , just use a small flat head screw driver and begin to remove slow there are no screws to remove the cover ,but there is 2 for the keyboard under the cover , is very easy to do , just go slow , check this video from minute 8:24 to 9:00
@CaptainScarlet2006 ,hello , i'm really sorry that took me so long to reply to your comment , i was way for a wile , i really rope you got your keyboard clean and is all working fine for you , if you still have question feel free to ask ! thanks for visiting

Somethings are missing from the video, like the connecting of the monitor cables and the installation of the DVD drive.
