Hi, just so you know, Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom but not Britain. They're quite separate! Check your passport or any other official document and I'm pretty sure it'll say 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. It's not possible to be both British and Irish unless you have duel citizenship. A lot of people aren't aware of this 'cause you don't learn much Irish history in school in Britain but now ya know! ;o) Wiki Great Britain and all shall be clear!
