I tried singing this song by meself at home when my family was gone at work or at school. Even then I couldn't muster HALF the emotion she sang with, but I'm damn proud of meself for trying! I was having a blast! I love this woman!...And I'm one of the few 19-year-olds in this world that do, who know who she was, with parents that raised her on this kind of music! THIS, ladies and gents, is MUSIC!! <3 Love it!
did ya'll see the biography about her on the biography channel? it was horrible the way they treated her when she went to her home town! her own parents wouldn't even acknowledge her existence other than asking her to leave. that's when she got back into the heroin habit she had kicked, then she o.d.ed shortly after. it was a good show, sad, but good!

who caused and contributed to her problems. Janis left her family a lot on money in her will so her parents could be looked after when they were elderly and her sister could go to college. they were a very fitting port arthur bleak oil town couple
