I bet I spent 8 hours messing around with formulas. Then I went out and had a cocktail to melt away my frustration. When I came back I found your video right away. I got lucky. You should write the book formulas for dummies.
It's really a helpful way to find duplicates. It seems that it still has a limited use. In your video, two duplicated words "Art65" stand next to each other so the formula worked well. But if these duplicate words do not stand next to each other, for example, one word in row 2 and the other word in row 5, it will say "False", which means this formula will not discover the duplicate words.
@thuynguyenable in microsoft office in the "Data" tab, you'll find button that says "Remove Duplicates" all you have to do is to press it and everything will be allright ;) (if you have more columns you'll have to say wich column you want him to verify for duplicates)
@thuynguyenable yes there is, highlight table, go to home ribbon, conditional formatting, highlight cell rules, duplicate values. This will work on Microsoft excel 2007/2010. hope this helps
thank u so much for this video

Dear who has posted this video,
It's really a helpful way to find duplicates. It seems that it still has a limited use. In your video, two duplicated words "Art65" stand next to each other so the formula worked well. But if these duplicate words do not stand next to each other, for example, one word in row 2 and the other word in row 5, it will say "False", which means this formula will not discover the duplicate words.
Is there any way to fix that? Thanks. dvance.
