good argument. thanks for posting- it voices something that is hard to say in todays world. the values you talk about are mocked and humiliated. and yes, we have noticed - its an ugly world and most people have become less human and more like sentient animals. you are forced to become like them, or else develop a skin of steel. either way, you lose.
A strong moral sense is something that our parents teach us and should teach us. You're clearly a good person with a strong moral centre. It's something that's sorely lacking in a lot of people nowadays. Good vid and a good point well made, Lou :)
You're absolutely right! People don't know what shame is anymore. Honor means nothing to anyone. I always feel like I'm the only one who thinks that way. I'm glad I'm not alone. We're in the minority, my friend. We've got to raise our children to cherish values like honor. Great video.
I didn't think I was alone. The event for me that really prompted this was when I had to file for bankruptcy. For my fiance and her family it was like a walk in the park no big deal. I agonized over the decision. I hated taking that way out of debts and what not that I had promised to pay etc. To them it was no big deal. I couldn't believe how easy it was for them to make a decision like that. Fiance didn't understand my problem with it....
I can relate to that. I ordered something recently from ebay and I ended up receiving two of them. I mentioned it to somebody and he wanted to buy the second one off of me. I told him I'd have to check with the seller on ebay first. He thought I was crazy, but as far as I was concerned, it wasn't mine to sell.
