@FlameOfAnor17 Where does one do a trill at :54? Or is Koopman's 54 at another location here? (Our canary, Johann Sebastian Bird, isinging to this video!)
Agreed. This piece all too often gets played too fast and so much of the feeling is lost, at least in my humble opinion. Also AurielTOI, I forgive you for not playing the trill :-). This is an overall nice rendition of one of the greatest pieces of music ever writtein. Thanx for sharing.
I like this performance of the 'Dorian' best because the pickups to quarter-note chords and those chords seem rhythmically more precise. What a nice tempo in that environment!
@AurielTOI A person can perform this without trilling. Trilling is just an ornament. All ornaments do is bring some "flavor" to the music. But you don't have to season it. It'll be ok.
Well played!

I'd give my right hand to be able to play this piece.

These notes are NOT all to be slurred (tied) together.
to-cca-ta
Where is the trill at 1:32 ??? -No trill is like flat beer.
You have this well within your grasp. Congratulations!
Now just ARTICULATE and make into a toccata and you've got a FINE performance here!
