  • 00:20; "Good, bad, right, or wrong--People get promoted that tend to dress better. People don't realize how important dressing is. I think we tend to think oh its dump, it's really not that important, who cares? Well, it's kind of like a resume-- With clothing it's the very first impressions someone will get of you before you've had a chance to open your mouth."

  • Good tutorial... I would also add something about a business jewellery. For instance is it appropriate for women to wear cuff links at work? Apparently women's pearl cuff links are becoming a hit...

  • dark suite = boarding

    plad suit = promotion

  • I check the Jacqui Kennedy/ Duchess of Windsor look, (or what modern royalty wears) -- which is mostly contrasting colours. The I are it down -- not so bright colours, not so compliated a dress-pattern. Always wth sleeves, and always 2-4

inches BELOW the knees. (Benny Hill Joke: Why is what a LADY wears like a lunchmeat sandwich? Because it's BELOW KNEE, (Baloney, get it?) Wear one strand of pearls, not three, and tiny earrings, not huge ones. The Pared-down royal-look is best!

  • Good information here. It's true, you should dress up. When I'm at my work environment I like to dress a notch above what everyone else is wearing. Why? You want to be perceived as a professional. You want others to look up to you. You want to INTIMIDATE your co-workers, clients, even your boss. Sure, you need technical knowledge of your profession, but dress is key. I recently wrote a book titled, "GET A GREAT JOB FAST" (see my website) and this video definitely applies. Good info!

  • @PatsBlog I seem to have said the same thing, in dfferent words.

Nce to read you comment! Will look for your book! : )
