@patrioteffect I think it's more that if you're predisposed to believe in this bullshit she'll be more likely to sell you something. That doesn't necessarily mean 'stupid', just credulous- a loved one may have died, and you might be beside yourself with grief, and willing to pay money to get any communication from the "other side".
Of course, this only makes what this woman is doing worse. People who perform this exploitative nonsense ought to be given some very, very near-death experiences.
