Ethiopia is one of the oldest continuous Islamic countries in the world. Tewahido Christianity was always dominant but Judaism and Islam have always been there. Now Islam is growing faster in Ethiopia. One proud fact for Ethios is that the respect, love and oneess of the people when it comes to faith.

yes I agree with the respect and love part of Ethiopia. I am an orthodox christian and I always pray that all religion respect each other in ethiopia and just debate verbally instead of massacering each other. because killing is against the rules in all religion

It is ethiopia where you would find more muslims than christians, but still there are a significant amount of christians, about 40%

and muslims are 55-60%

Muslims and Christians Ethiopians live side by side for over a century. During Eid Alfatir the all Ethiopians do not work Muslims or otherwise, government office is closed. More than 50% of Ethiopians are Muslims. They are doctors, shop owners, government officials, nurses and everything else. We respect each other. When you walk in our cities you will see churches and moskes side by side.
