  • @Xmentosx yes but Skyward Sword held many facts and answered many of my questions. Overall i loved skyward sword. Although, i agree with u only on the bosses fights, i loved the loftwings.

  • @Ocarinakid1031 What about the content? TP is easily twice as long as SS, has a better and much larger overworld and is not as repetitive. Character and development-wise, TP is also better, as every little character plays a part in the story and evolves throughout it, while most characters in SS are plain, even the central ones.

And what about the themes? I know TP is still very light to be considered a dark game, but at least it tries, SS is just too cheesy.

  • @Ocarinakid1031 Now, the fact that SS is visually likeable is very subjective.

In my opinion, the textures in SS are awful and become incredibly diffuse as you approach them. TP had some pixelation due to the lower procesing capabilities of GameCube, but it still tried to give surfaces some extra detail to make up for it. Nothing in Zelda has looked perfectly defined since the simplistic style of WW, and the only victories of SS are those based in TP, like the character models.

  • @Ocarinakid1031 Now, I'm not trying to say that the game is bad, but for the development time it took it seemed a little disappointing. The game is in fact very good and appealing, probably the third or fourth best Zelda game, but it doesn't surpass the technical and narrative advancements of TP, the visual appeal of WW nor the innovation of OoT.

  • Twilight Princess... as much as it pains me to say it, it really outdid Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword is, to me, visually a lot more likable, but it pales in comparison to Twilight Princesses epic boss battles, abundance of secrets that the Goddess Cube shenanigan really didn't do justice and the logic of Hyrule.

Skyloft was a fun place, but the entire sky around it was a barren desolate place of suck. The Loftwing never felt as useful as Epona or the King of Red Lions.

  • you know, i think the other link in skyward sword was left handed?

but then again, wasnt wii's twilight princess mirrored from the gamecube?

  • the whole reason link is right handed on the wii is because most people are right handed.. :P they should've made it a setting or something though.

  • I like the GC version better. The controls are more familiar to me for Zelda than seining the Wii remote.

  • jejeje en todos los comerciales de zelda al principio ponen esa tonadita de cuando encuentras algo ggggenial xD y es divertido xP

  • EPIC

  • By far my favorite of the series.

I Love the music, the look, the story, the cinematics (Although a little too many of those), EVERYTHING.

Ocarina of time was good, but Twilight Princess to me is a masterpiece!

  • Cool. Wheres the Gamecube version?

  • The only thing that I don't like about Nintendo is the way they advertise their Wii games. Seems they spend more time showing off the Wii controller than the actual game.

  • @TheGoldenShamrocks You have to remember that this was a launch title for the Wii, so it was only natural for them to want to show off their new technology. They don't do that so much now days.

  • @TheGoldenShamrocks Using 5 seconds of a 32 second advertisement is in no way spending more time showing off the remote.

  • @TheGoldenShamrocks yeah, everything before that seemed like they were trying to make the game seem like it was coming out to reality (which was freakin awesome)

YA KNOW WHAT, i think i should remake a proper twilight princess commercial eventually!

  • That scene with Epona was definitely the only thing that sold the game.Link fanservice,FTW.

  • @DxBALLxD i soooooooooooooo argree btw im a girl im im the worlds biggeest zelda fan

  • @prinsesarel

oh nonono I'm the worled biggest zelda fan...

  • i like it better on the gamecube, why? cus its easier, was supose to be there first, the game is not mirrored and its NOT worse grafics...

  • @DxBALLxD The graphics were exactly the same XD Also, you should give the wii version a chance. It's much smoother

  • @BlooReptile lol, i can't remember why i said there's worse graphics when i know they're the same õ,o

anywho i did try the wii version.. and.. meeeh, it's the same game only mirrored and weird controls.

  • @BlooReptile yes,its smoother.

    only its MIRRORED! >_>

the correct version is the GC one.

had it been normal, and had they uncluded the camera mode from the GC ver.,itbe the best version.

i hate right-handed Link on SS,but the whole game mirrored?

    thats even worse....

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart Does it really matter if it's mirrored? Had you of played the wii version through first you would struggle just as much with the GC version as you do with the wii version now. Dealing with some minor mental re-placement issues seems far worth it to have a much better game experience if you ask me

  • @BlooReptile ,,,i finished both.

    it sucks.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart maybe you suck the game is awesome.

  • @Lyon3ng or maybe u like to misread....

i was reffering to the mirroring.

    the Gamecube versions good.

    the Wii version is annoyinhg

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart well, maybe i misunderstood about it, but i do think is pretty good both versions actually i have both of 'em but i'd prefer TP for wii

  • @Lyon3ng ....no,cause its not the normal vcersion of the game.

    Link is left handed.

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart i've had a talk to a friend, it's okay i'm a big Zelda fan since i was 8 (no i'm 24) but, for me, the character essence es pretty important, but honestly i didn't care if Link is left or right handed, if the game has the essence, Link is left handed yeah, but if the quality of the game is good, if the essence is the right one, i could play with a left or right handed Link.

  • @Lyon3ng i see

    it bothers me though

All Links have been left handed,so a change for controls is dumb,..

  • @TheMostBleedingHeart for me it's practical, i'll never get used to use the wii mote with my left hand, so for me it's comfortable, so in the end, i think for the most of us, that is more important, praxis than one (maybe enough big for you) detail such as the hand direction of Link.

  • If you're going to insult Japan, then at least spell Japanese right. Wow.

  • only one word to descirbe this game and apparently this commercial...epic.

  • I always thought that this game was better than OoT, despite the fact that OoT is one of the best classics out there.

The gameplay is similar (of course it is. xD It's a Zelda game), but with extra items, much better graphics (once again, DUH!), and the added Wolf Link part that I absolutely loved.

Whenever I could, I'd always be Wolf Link instead of Hylian Link. Especially when going around Hyrule Field.

  • @DigitalxGamer Yea except when you are playing as wolf link the fighting gets a little repetitive. There are many more ways to kickass while in hylian form. Mad parries and charge up moves. Not to mention you cant really use items when you are the wolf.

  • True enough. The fighting does get repetitive. Which is all the more reason to make another game with Wolf Link...only add something extra to make things more versatile. =}

But that last thing just makes perfect sense. It's only natural that you're not going to be able to use items in wolf form, right?

  • @DigitalxGamer Well yea it makes sense and also it would look stupid if a wolf was carrying around a bow and arrow. Who knows about the next game and whether or not there will be a wolf form in it. I just want a new game to come out soon for legend of zelda that isn't just on the DS.

  • Heh. I hope so, but I'm doubting it. But I do know that another Zelda for the Wii is in the works...though if it'll ever actually be completed and released is another thing entirely.

  • @DigitalxGamer Yea but they will probably delay it five or so times past the first set release date. Sucks I don't have a wii. I got twilight princess for the gamecube and played OoT on N64.

  • Yeah, you're probably right. And they'll do it just to add some parts of the game that players will enjoy...and some that players will hate like they did with Brawl (Tripping? Really, Sakarai?)

Hm.... Have you ever played any of the GBC games or MM for the N64?

  • @DigitalxGamer Yeah brawl has very different timing and putting the smash ball in ruined the game. It isn't a bad game it just isn't as good for me cause I am used to melee.

I played a large portion of a link to the past but nothing else for GBC. Majora's mask was amazing, but in a slightly different way. It took time getting used to the whole three days thing but I stopped noticing it after a while.

  • @YoshiMario69

It doesn't have to look stupid, if you just do normal, but the guys in the commercials always exaggerate.

  • Lol.

  • no kidding

  • Comment removed

  • well i mean what i say and that is that but truley why do they have to show the guy playing it and it isnt as amusing as the other commercials i have seen for this game and it isnt about the whole japenes thing it is this commercial sucks =)))

but this is youtube and everyone gets on here and says dumb stuff so why does it bother you that i said it sucks shouldnt matter i didnt say japenes people suck i want to learn the japenes language =)

  • sorry about that...I feel like a jerk there...
