@roccoroket7 Yeah, you should be alright. The plot is so thin it's almost nonexistent, I never played the first one but jumped into the second one just fine. The action is just so sweet. But if you're looking for a story driven sword game, play God of War instead.

Obaba of the black spider ninja is back, I've seen the pics, this may play more on a part of the "awakening". Only time will tell once this game comes out, can't wait!! hopefully by viewing the multiplayer pics of fiends this will actually be a reality for story mode as well. I will not criticize this game as I have not played it, all I will do is keep an open mind till the day arrives!

My last hope since NGS2 is just one thing for the argument of this game:

I expect that their quality can replace dismemberments, the blood and gore that was characterize NG.

Otherwise, you screwed the franchise.

IGN was bitching about the difficulty being considerably lower on this game than the previous. To me, that meant there was actually a chance of playing the game without dying at least 5 times. I enjoy ENJOYING games not bein so pissed that i have throw my controller across the room. When i read the difficulty was lower, I decided to buy it March 20, the day it's released, and not sell this one out of frustration.

@hotfly15 ive played ninja gaiden and i honestly think a story is what it needs. the last to games pissed me off cause i was just hacking and slashing. thats why i like DMC and GOW more, they provide action and story. i think this game will do VERY WELL. gameplay looks much smoother that the previous ones as well

after reading and knowing more about NG3 of the abilities is just making a lot of people having second thoughts about getting this game or not. Since no longer Itagaki who was the real director/producer of Ninja Gaiden series but now, it's his partner Hayashi, made the game more a turn down by removing a lot of good abilities. Hayashi heard complain about its too bloody and bodies parts flying so he remove it. I mean, war game does the same and parents buy still buy it for their kids o_O
