How do you avoid transference from your foundation when you don't powder it? I can't imagine not powdering my foundation because it gets all over every thing and it settles into creases and lines and such.

I absolutely love your tutorials! I'm sure I would love some of the products you use in your tutorials, like Jenna Kidd, Louise Young..etc, if these products were available in the U.S. Some JK products are available at Target stores, but not the full line. This look is lovely, you look great with paler skin too Tanya, but I find putting on tan does cheer you up :) Especially living in the UK with rubbish weather! I like to use sumptuous olive as an everyday eyeshadow because it also looks like you have another colour on when it gets blended out :) x

However, I am also glad you start with a foundation, because foundations today, while offering even coverage to those of us who need it, also offer an exceptional Sun Protection Factor. SPF is SUPER important. I don't understand why so many people push it aside without second thought.

Hi Tanya! Thanks for your videos:) I had a question..whenever I apply MAC's Woodwinked eyeshadow, it turns out to be a pink-reddish tone on my eyelids. Do you know why? The color is so pretty but it sucks that it turns out this way!

@clndyx That's because it's a duo-chrome sort of eyeshadow. It has a coppery base. Try using a gold or bronze cream base to make the more golden tones of the shadow come through, and try to pat it on gradually rather than packing on a lot and then having to blend away. When you blend it, the rubbing of the brush lifts the gold pigment and shows up the coppery-red base of the shadow. So pat it on a tiny little bit at a time and build it up to the density you're looking for. Hope that helped!

I own Woodwinked and think it is pretty, especially mixed to bring out more of a brown-gold look... However I'm not fond of it. I'm not sure if it is just my preference, my eye shape or what... In MAC I am NC20 so I am fair skinned, I have olive green eyes, dark brown hair with dark dense brows (not Keira Knightley big or anything)... Maybe it has to do with that. I find it does go red/orange when blended and eh ... I know those colors bring out green eyes but I just find it looks eh on me.

Just a quick tip ;) If you want to purchase the mascara Tanya used and you aren't able to get bourgois products in your country (e.g. in Germany), there is a mascara with the same function from "essence". It costs about 5 or 6 euros! But it dries out really quickly, so make sure you close ist properly ;) It's great though!! And Tanya, I love the way you turn a quick and simple daily make up into a very elegant and chic look! Good job! :)

Im not sure but if Im right but isn't the vitalumiere agua a water based formula and the MAC matchmaster contains oils which would make the two separate. Right?
