You are right in dividing the numbers in two groups: odd and even, on average that is the way the numbers fall. The total sum of all the numbers should be in the region of 145 to 165, half of the sum made by evens and half by odd. Prime numbers should be ignored and also the perfect squared numbers of single digits up to seven, f.e, 4,9,16,25,36,49. So you are left with 26 numbers; and these are: 1-6-8-10-12-14-15-18-20-21-22-­24-26-27-28-30-32-33-34-35-40-­42-44-45-46-48. This system does work!!

@ramsak interesting notion. im no statistician but given that each week its sampling with replacement ( i.e. last weeks draw does not affect this weeks) you can assume that by keeping your numbers fixed it is more likly in the long run, that the lotto will pair with them, vs changing them which in the long run is more likly for you to keep out of sink with the lotto, becuase as i said, its for ever changing due to sampling with replacement.

I saw the special on TV about those clerks who steal the winnings from people who ask them to check their ticket. at the time there was no way for me to check the ticket myself. on 20/20 that people are getting their winnings stolen by clerks. Wisocnisn lottery was wrong in that they just refuse to help me. Yes, they could have check the video on the store camara and the time a winning ticket came in to be checked. no I believe a winning ticket was stolen from me and because i did not sign it or call the police on that gas station person, lottery said it was nothing they could do and would not provide me with any additional info.

why can't they match up the security camera footage Timecode information, to the time that you came in, to the time that the ticket was entered into the system, just tell them you to do that, and it should match up right? it should show the ticket being registered when it shows you handing it over...Thus proving that it was your ticket, and that you won, it's worth trying, seriously for 250,000? I think so.. lol I'd try for $100 haha

I asked them to do this and they said if I did not sign it it still would not help. After this happened they have a big push to say that if they do not sign their ticket they can not claim it to be their. In short the ticket is suppose to be only valid and claimed by the person signing it. they said they are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets not signed. After so many calls and emails they finally said they do keep records that far back . I tried over the years to get them to help.

Never trust a gas station attendant to check your ticket on the machine. About eight years ago I ask the attendant to check my ticket he checked through it the garbage "he said not a winner " I said yeh but I need the ticket back, he said I not give it to you ( arab) it is in the garbage. I said it is right by you I can see it on the top the garbage.

this is stupid and it doesnt even make a difference to your chances...the odds of matching just one group of three numbers are 18000 to 1....so you can imagine, matching 2 sets of three numbers is virtually impossible.

Most people play their 'lucky' mmm birthday numbers but remember there are a lot of numbers that are over 31..also it automatic makes a odd-even balance. 4 odd 2 even or vice vera or 3 odd and 3 even, it can show with all odd and all even but not very likely.. and there are more prime numbers in the odd number feild. make sure at least 3 or less is played. A prime number is a number that only can be divided evenly by itself or 1.
