Hi Candy: awesome video! Can you just confirm if the Great Lash and Exact Eyelights that you used were the regular or waterproof versions? I have been using Great Lash for YEARS, like 13 years! When I was a teenager and first started buying makeup, my Mom found an article in Flare or Elle or something, and comparing about ten or so different mascaras, Great Lash, at $4-6, beat out all the way more expensive others.

I've had many samples/freebies of mascaras from Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Lancome over the years because my Mom and Aunts always give me the freebies from their gifts, and they were always clumpy! Also, Great Lash regular and Great Lash Waterproof are way different: the waterproof version is clumpy. Can you let me know if Eyelights is still your favourite mascara? :)

@lepidopterist81 It's definitely still my favorite! I've tried a few more since then but nothing to write home about at all. I used the regular version of Great Lash..I try to stay away from waterproof on myself because I have terrible eye allergies and fighting it at the end of the day isn't worth it lol.

Haha, how weird.. about a month after I posted that I received a free Smashbox Lash DNA mascara sample from Sephora after I made an order with them... And that's actually my new favorite. :3 But since it's a higher end mascara, I don't see myself buying that on a regular basis. Maybe if you can get your hands on that one you should include it in your updated video? If your lashes are anything like mine it'll be amazing! :)

The only problem I have with CoverGirl is that they test on animals. I used to use Lash Blast but I no longer do because of the testing.

does the covergirl eye exact actually brightens your eye color...does it leave ur lashes shimmery?

I don't really notice a difference in brightness for me personally, but there is definitely a small amount of shimmer in it. Not nearly as much as the Lash Blast Luxe, though!

your lashes are great with covergirl mascaras and with the second mac mascara .

please give a try to maybelline lash stiletto, loreal telescopic mascara(silver packaging) and avon spectra lash mascara. this two is my favorite

full and soft is by far the best mascara on the market, along with bad gal lash by benefit. both of them aren't messy, don't clump, but add a lot of volume and length.

i use like 3 different mascaras cuz my eyelashes are really really short but if i put mascara on and curl them they dont look as short. one thing i hate is that bent look when girls curl they're eyelashes. right now im using Lash Exact by Cover Girl which is really good and Colossal by Maybelline. I think im gonna have to try the one you have also! lol I have never liked MAC mascara they all clump to me =/

the covergirl was amazing, but is it hypoallergenic?

my eyes are pretty sensitive. i may also recommend it to my mom and she's even more sensitive than me.

I'm not really sure..you'd have to check the packaging (I don't have the package any more) but I have sensitive eyes as well and it doesn't bother me. I can't say for sure it won't bother you, though :)

I used to love Great Lash (right now, I'm actually wearing the Blackest Black formula), but now that I've compared it, I think I should definitely switch to Exact Eyelights. I find it's really messy to put on, especially on my lower lashes.

I'm glad I saw this video, cause I have been meaning to try the Exact Eyelights one for a while. Now I will definitely have to pick one up! I've tried so many and I always go back to either Big Fatty by Urban Decay, or Maybelline's Define-A-Lash (my fave!)

I have also recently been shocked by drugstore mascara. I bought Maybelline Full and Soft a few days ago and I am in love! Keep in mind I have naturally long, straight lashes that are somewhat thick. What impressed me about Full and Soft was the added volume it gave my lashes, the no mess formula, holding the curl and no smudging. I applied this mascara at 10:00 am Friday it is now almost 4:00am Saturday and the mascara still looks great. Maybelline, who would have thought?

I did a review on it before it hit stores. I saw it in Walmart the other day, and it's BRAND NEW. It's a yellow tube, and seriously, it really adds amazing length!
