But this I can't put it in to words how sad this is, but I see that it happened doing something u loved and that's the most important thing of all. I had both my legs fractured, left arm dislocated and right arm top limb was broken and lower arm compound fracture. I also lost parts of my memory like my Russian birth language, and part english It happened after I whent to flying school, I always wanted to fly planes and had a

  • I saw your video of you in the hospital and it made me think back to my injury just 4 months ago. I am a T-12 complete so I have some lower abs and the ability to move my hips. I wish I would have recorded or took some pictures to remind me how hard those days were. I saw your workout routine and it inspired me to start working out. Thank you for inspiring others!

Even now still feel the same as every time i think of it my heart feet so painful.

  • i have always wondered what does it feel like to be paralyzed?

do you feel a tingling sensation or what?

also did it hurt when you broke your back?

    no disrepect

  • i am very sorry for your accident but i have a question.

are you paralyzed just below your waist or your whole body?

  • I'm paralyzed from below the chest. I have full use of my arms.

The first ten years are the hardest man! Good videos. Keep it up.

  • Merci beaucoup. Le VVT en effet, ca peut etre dangereux... Oui, j'ai de la chance d'habiter aux US ou tout est accessible, c'est vraiment impressionant.

  • @fasteddy07 Do u has msn???

  • fasteddy07 - Well done for being so positive... you are a true inspiration. :)

  • Thanks Alina.

  • I became a paraplegic due to a drug deal gone bad. I can no longer do anything I used to love doing. I'm highly depressed all the time and am thinking of ending it. That way at least I can end my misery and emotional trauma. Please let me know why I shouldn't end my life. I was so active before...know I have nothing.

  • I was diagnosed with DMD(duschenne muscular dystrophy) when I was 8 years old. And now am 23 years old. I was never really active my whole life. But my inspiratoin comes from people who are quadrapalegic and still continue to live life. Even though my body has deterioted over the years I still count my blessings in life how much may ever it may be

  • good attitude. I too take my inspiration from quadraplegics. Keep fighting and stay strong mentally because that's the only strength that matters.

  • I'm sorry to hear you feel so down. There are still many activities that are available to people with disabilities. Send me an email if you wish to discuss those options.

  • wow, watching your 1st transfer reminds me of mine. the drugs and when u asked about the bed... i remember asking the same kinds of questions and getting the response "you wont need it". glad to see your positivness =) id like to talk with you more about your rehab

  • Thanks so much for sharing. Got home 1 week ago want to get through this transition asap. I'm a t-10 level injury and was hit by a car while crossing the street. How long did it take for the muscle pain/surgery pain to end? Thanks. Your videos are so helpful. I was sent home with my TLSO and cannot turn myself in bed yet. sigh. Thanks again.

  • Well, I started working out to keep my body as mobile as I could and luckily this has kept the pain away. I don't have any pain whatsoever.

  • Thank you.

  • You rock! Keep on living life.
