I'm an atheist and I love this song and the meaning behind it. Why do the people who try to preach peace and acceptance always suffer the most? There's so many examples in history.

I bought Spanish Train and other stories back in 77 and found the music the best of the decade and ranks among the all time best material. Just another poor boy is probably the least known but is in the top ten best C de B songs ever. Saw him at Massey Hall in TDot years ago; fantastic!!

Thanks for this - I like the album version and also the live version. Would love to see this guy in concert. My other fave CD of his is - Into The Light. I find myself singing this song [to myself] as I walk down the streets or on the highway. .... he said all men are brothers...

I am a teacher. Your videos are great for my EFL classes. On the word "eyes" students can see eyes. On hearing "rain" we see a picture of rain. Good literal (if artless) interpretation of songs. Well done. But now it is time to level up. For your next video try choosing more images that reflect a mythological or archetypal interpretation (like the way you used modern images of homeless people instead of Jesus).

Thanks for sticking up for me, I didn't reply to him for he is not worth the trouble. Anyways, it's entirely pointless because I stopped making "music videos", I found I was riding on the artist's coattails. I am making comedy videos now, check them out.

I used to learn English with writing down the lyrics of Chris de Burgh songs. This was the first one I wrote down, and it's still one of my very favourites.
