it's amazing how wit all those people and instruments on stage and with all the mayhem that they actually got the song across so well. it may look like madness but apparently there was a method to it. this was their best one too.

Going to see the Doobie Brothers live was awesome. This song of theirs is one of my favorite tunes.

Man, did Tom did a diff, solo on China Grove.. He just blew away J. McFee when it came down 2 soloing.. Noticed he just switched guitars on the 2nd verse.. maybe he didn't hear the 1st guitar while playing.. but he made up 4 it. Great tune frm Captain & Me .. classic cd.... he also looks better here than when he left 8yrs before the farewell tour of '82-83

saw them in july of 1979 opening for the rolling stones @ the superdome in new orleans...... i thought they would NEVER quit playing...........AND it was so FREAKING hot in the dome.
