  • great!

  • @kzm25697 Thanks.

  • Some very chill bossa nova there. I'm in the process of learning midi myself.

Also, very interesting points about Cole Porter and tying it to current events.

  • Thanks.

  • maby you like this

    watch?v=wL2W4UPGUBo

  • Al Jarreau is so excellent.

  • Geez, whattaya gay or something? And by that I mean happy gay, not fah-laming gay.

Good stuff, not enough people here appreciate the classics and ol' timey music and especially to use it to make valid points.

  • Upon hearing a Cole Porter tune I instantly turn gay.

  • Is this the Cole Porter who draw the map of Westphalia?

  • Hahaha ... I didn't see that Monty Python skit, or at least don't remember it.

  • It's the one with the rollerscating vicar and pixie hats.

  • I'm not familiar with this kind of music, but it is a bit relaxing. Very nice cover.

  • I mostly like hard rock, but variety is nice.

  • Excellent educational video! :D

  • Well, thank you.

  • can't get enough -o- that jazz flute baby

  • swing it baby.

  • Never knowingly listened to any of Cole Porter's music ozmoroid so thanks for the taster.

Very mellow he thinks as he reaches for the indica jar...... :-)

  • Yeah, it's a nice contrast to good old hard rock.

  • ive been getting into jazz and big band more in this year, for most my life my music was exclusively rock, hard rock, and metal. ive calmed down a bit getting into my late 20's

  • Just my experience ... a bit of variety is nice and you end up enjoying all the music a bit more. I'm still mostly a Led Zeppelin/Jimi Hendrix guy, but some mello stuff now and then adds that little bit 'o spice that makes it all a delightful dish.

  • Excellent vid as Always Oz.

Cole Porter.. hmmm i will have to check out some of his other stuff.

  • Thanks for the comp.

  • My girlfriend plays in a big band. I hear this song performed at least once a month. :-)

  • Big bands and orchestras are uber cool. All those people blending their sounds together.

  • Is it just me or are there some real bossa nova undercurrents in this piece?

  • I went for that Bossa Nova feel - congas over drum set. Gives it that mello edge.

  • Groovy Man!

    Dig that bongo beat

  • Beatniks unite!

  • sweet video ozmoroid.

  • appreciate the comment.

  • Great video, with a question in the end relevant in our times as well.

  • Relevant indeed.

  • Beautiful :) I remember a bunch of musicians did covers of Cole Porter songs on a cd called "Red, Hot and Blue"... I think that was the title. I had it long ago... simply amazing music.

  • Just gotta love Cole Porter. Plus his Broadway shows like Anything Goes are just classic.

  • You're saying he was bisexual ? Cool. Sexuality *is* a multidimensional spectrum, after all. It's the folks who hate sexuality of any kind who try and stuff it into one or two tiny boxes because they fear they won't be able to control it.

  • My understanding is that his marriage was asexual and he was exclusively homosexual.

  • Hehe.. well, whatever floated his boat. Didn't prevent the existance of Elton Joohns offspring :D

Also doesn't bother me one whit when I collect music I like. Gay, straight, zoo, leather, S&M... as long as it's good, about subjects I like when it has lyrics, I'll go and get me some :P

  • No, he said he had a platonic relationship with his wife and that he was gay.

  • This song is on the not too shabby side of the force

  • gracias.

  • Nice!

  • Thanks.

  • Sounds great, Oz.. a fitting tribute.

  • Most grateful.

  • Just gorgeous. Beautiful rendition and vid. I promise never to pwn anyone using a Cole Porter song. I came close yo using 'I get a kick out of you' once - glad I didn't :-)

  • I gotta think Cole would approve of one of his tunes being used to pwn a fundie. Just a hunch. 8^)

  • Excellent production!

  • Thanks.

  • Cole Porter FTW!

  • The man exuded class.

  • This is not what I subscribed to...

  • I offer full refunds for unhappy customers. 8^)

  • That's what I'm talking about, Thanks! Wow, you just don't see that kind of service from anyone else on youtube and it's a shame... I'm also sorry for the one star too.

  • It's not why I subscribed to your channel too, but this video is welcome. Cannot say that this is my kind of music either, but the song is charming!

And I must add that I completelly agree with the message (even if it doesn't affect me personally).

  • This was beautiful, I adore Cole Porter, spesially when Ella Fitzgerald covers. My favourite song is So in Love and Lets misbehave, everytime we say goodbye and I get a kick out of you. Many more.

    Did you enjoy De-Lovely?

  • You know I have yet to see De-Lovely. Not a big movie view, but will have to see that one. I like Kevin Kline too.

  • I'm sure you've seen it, but "De-lovely" is a wonderful bio pic with great music throughout. And I'm a big Kevin Kline fan, so I might be a bit biased.

  • Same here, though I would have loved Fred Astaire to play that role. Love Fred.

  • Fred Astaire = effortless elegance.

  • Actually have yet to see it. Not a big movie viewer. Have put it on the to-do list. I like Kevin Kline too.

  • Put that music on a loop and one could get lost in that feel good vibe for hours.

  • "Easy listening."

  • Ummm cool?

I subscribed to you because of your hilarious videos pointing out the retard-ness of others.

    Sad face stickers = LOL

  • On Ozmoroid's channel ya get whatever comes your way. More precisely, whatever Oz feels like puttin' out there. Appreciate the sub, but if the variety isn't yer thing I understand. 8^)

  • Im still with ya!

Hell, I made a vid about cooking. Just to insult a vegan douche! LOL!

  • The classics never grow old Frank!

  • I don't really listen to stuff like this, but maybe I'll start. It's really chill and pleasant. I can understand the appeal... wait, he's gay? Ah-ha! I knew this music was the work of SATAN! j/k

  • I'm mostly into hard rock (Hendrix, Zeppelin) but over the years jazz and classical have grown on me. Nice for a change of pace now and then.

  • about time you put out a vid!!

  • Well, just a little ditty. Working on some other stuff, but time always seems to be short.
