She was a political influence but, because she rejected her husband and could not forgive him for the affair he had with his secretary during his first years in politics, her own family of five children went through 19 marriages. Thats right, 19 marriages among 5 children. Divorce after divorce after divorce. The family was also under the curse of being Masons. FDR and his 2 sons were also Eleanor . . . a lot of heartache was sown into that family lin sadly. . .
