  • LOve it! Im going this easter to the Dolomites! Super exicited.

  • @NexsterCrn Hopefully they get some more snow before, I've been there in January and it was almost nothing. Hardly enough to prepare the slopes, but this will not last till easter in case the temperature is more than 0° a few days. In the worst case you have to go to Austria instead, they have TOO MUCH snow at the moment (in some regions 4 or 5 meters!), so this should be fine on easter ;)

  • Wow lucky

  • Lucky you, you were there in a day of glorious weather.

Great run in a great scenery!

  • @silviobelletti Yes the weather was great! But I've been there another time when it was snowing and stormy as well ;-) It's really arduous skiing against the wind on that slope - like cross-country skiing!

  • Very nice! how long is this route?

The environment is very different than the ski place here in Japan.

  • @ColdFusionJapan It's 7.2 km long in total, but the final part passing beside ice cascades comes in a second video, I didn't upload yet.

I've seen a video from "Tohoku" - don't know if that's typical for Japan, but the landscape was very different indeed. I guess many of your mountains arose from volcanos, right? That would explain the big differences to the Dolomites in Italy.

  • xXx

  • nice video my I ask you which camera did you used?

  • @anzex1 It's filmed on a "GoPro HD Hero", mounted on the helmet. They released the successor "GoPro HD Hero2" with some improvements a few weeks ago.

  • Awesome! My legs are burning from watching. This run seems to go on forever. Gorgeous filming of a beautiful landscape! In the US, we have very few runs to rival the vertical drop of this one.

  • @MegaSuncity1 Yeah, but what you saw in this video is just part 1 ;-) I made a break there - the slope still continues, passing beside ice cascades and ends with beeing pulled by horses to the next ski-lift. Hope I'll find the time to edit and upload that video-footage as well soon.

  • just an EPIC video, and an EPIC ending.. :)

  • @MrFenderrosso Thanks for your comment :) Yes it's such an awesome nature, I love the landscapes in the Dolomites. One of the most beautiful places on earth! I have some more nice videos from this region, but didn't find the time to edit and upload them yet...

Regarding the ending: Yeah it's great that I can take a seat in a canvas chair whithout having to unstrap my "skies", one of many advantages of my short "Bigfoots" :)
