Great ! Really ! I just ordered the veranda from MTH, and like you I guess, have Marklin AC ( me + new mobile station DCC compatible). How did you do to put it on AC ? Something to change to the QSI (for DC to AC) or just put a ski + re-wire ? Thank you for the answer and I'll take some shoots of it + my upcoming Marklin BigBoy 4006...

how can an Athearn loco work on Marklin track? Isn't Athearn for 2 rail not 3 rail track?

Yes, you are right, the Turbine is DCC but I am modifying it to work on AC track, using my CS2 that is compatible with DCC format.

yes, real UP turbines had small diesel engine (pony diesel) for yard work.
