Yeah, this was back when Mtv played actual music videos (99% commercial crap). Mathew Sweet was one of the only artists on that channel that wasn't disposable garbage.
Seeing this video I had a flashback to around 94 or 95 when I was 10 or 11. Great music that sounds like 70's Cheap Trick or Big Star. Kennedy is an ugly right wing creature, while Mathew looks very nervous around her (I would be too).
